Chapter 21

• Marije's POV •

I woke up 2 hours after falling asleep.
I seen that everyone was asleep except Hayes.

He looks over at me and I didn't make any eye contact with him. I got up and walked into the kitchen, I then feel like someone is behind me.

I slowly turn around and see shirtless Hayes, he looks down at me and began to speak "I know you hate me, but Marije I miss you."

I turned to walk away and Hayes grabs my wrist before I could leave. He turns me around to face him, are body's were touching and he cups his hands under my face. He began to lean in, are lips brushed against each other and he gave me a soft kiss.

" I missed you, I really did. " Hayes whispers in my ear.

His hot breath on my neck brings chills down my back, I looked away and began to go upstairs.

I check on Skylynn, she is still sleeping so I went back down stairs and sat on the floor and Hayes joined me. I moved away from him.

I could see how sad Hayes was in his eyes, I felt bad but I just didn't want any thing to do with them, Hayes kiss was amazing but I don't know. Just after everything had happened in the last three weeks I just couldn't deal with them right now.

I decided to text Hayes instead of talk to him. I walked upstairs before texting him. The text read..

" Hayes I'm sorry, I just can't do this not right now. I hope you understand. None of you cared about me when I was in the elevator with you, so what's the point now ?
Look Hayes no one knows this but when we were in the elevator I began to cut again, yeah you didn't know that about me. Yeah I cutted and I am a cutter. I'm sorry you had to find out this way but don't pretend to care about me now. It's to late."

I texted him and 2 mins later he busted though my door, then began to speak

" ARE YOU KIDDING ME MARIJE ! WHY, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED WHY DID YOU CUT IN THE ELEVATOR. WHY DID YOU TELL ME OVER FUCKING TEXT. IM DONE WITH THIS. YOU KNOW WHAT MARIJE, I LOVE YOU. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY, I HAVE ALWAYS I MEAN ALWAYS CARED ABOUT YOU. "

then a tear fell from his eye.
Wow someone really did care about me, I then began to cry.

I looked at him and picked his head up. I then put my arms around his neck and I leaned into kiss him, i gave him a small kiss. We pulled away and then I whispered into Hayes ear " I always knew you were the one " I said with a smile.

He looked me in the eyes and said " I have been waiting for that because I've always knew you were the one Marije "

I smiled and gave him a light kiss again.

Then I began to speak "Hayes you can't let anyone I mean anyone about what happened because I don't want the boys to freak out, so this stays between you and I okay? "

He smiles and says " I promise " with a smile on him face.

I started laughing and said " good " giving him a wink and left. I knew he was looking at my butt when I left so I just turned around and walked backwards

I walk into my room where Skylynn was, she then woke up all happy.

Even thought it was now 4 we began to plan the rest of the day, first we were going to get dinner at 5 then go to get ice cream, I would sing to her and he would sleep and the day would be over.

I walked down and woke the boys up, then I asked " Jonathan does you or any of your friends want ice cream ?" I say

" umm, yeah please " he said

" THEN GET UP ! " I yell.

They got ready and we left, I was wearing leggings again and a purple crop top, with the same colored vans. Jonathan hated crop tops and it was so funny how he reacted.

I could tell they were looking at my butt then I hear my brother say " guys stop looking at my sisters butt, my god. "

I start laughing and then I got a text from Hayes... It was a picture of my butt in the leggings I was wearing. Oh great what is up with them and my damn butt !

I texted him and picture of him making an ugly face and he started cracking up.

We finally got to the ice cream place, Skylynn ordered then I ordered, and the rest of the boys to. Skylynn wants to go on the swing so I took her, I feel arms around me and it was Nash's. shit

I moved away quickly and picked Skylynn up and put her on the swing.

I texted Hayes and told him what happened and he said " I seen, don't worry. "

I looked at him and smiled, he smiled back.

We started heading home after and I heard a car behind us yelling are names it was Mrs. Grier, and Will was with her. I look over and Will is starting at my butt, what is up with the Griers and butts.

We finally got home and I put Skylynn to bed then sang to her. I said goodbye to Mrs. Grier and walked out the back doors, I got pulled to the side and it was Hayes.

He looked at me and said " can I ? " Looking at my lips and then back to my eyes I smiled and pulled him in.

We started kissing and I heard someone say "mom I'm going outside" Hayes and I pulled away quickly and I ran to my house.

I got inside and ran to my room, I hopped into the shower then after got ready for bed. I plugged my phone in and fell asleep.
