Chapter 44

• Shawn's POV •

I know, I know, I messed up big time with Marije. She was my first love really, every time I see her I fall in love again. I cried when I lost her, I left her house as soon as I could, I wasn't feeling Magcon at all because that where I meant that beautiful girl. Now I lost her and will never get her back and that sucks.

I see her with Skylynn and I just smile to myself, she has always been amazing with kids.

It sucks, I want someone like her, I want her and only her. I forgot about this trip then I got a call from Nash about it, I remembered all of Marije and I's plans for the whole trip. We were going to have so much fun.

But it was all ruined in a matter of minutes.

This wouldn't have happened if Matt just back off, Marije was mine. He focused me to end it with her. I told him my biggest secret, I messed up.

He wanted Marije to be his and I could tell, but she was mine, not Matt's. MINE.

• Marije's POV •

I get up and go to the bathroom, I check myself then the door opens and I see Shawn.

He turns around and locks the door, he looks at me. " Give me 5 minutes to explain. Please this is my only chance to tell you what happened. " he says .

" No ! Shawn please leave me alone, you ruined my life. For heavens sake I locked myself up in my room for 4 mouths not talking to anyone, being by myself, crying myself to sleep every night. I wished you were there to cuddle up with me, but you were the one that caused me all that pain. You ruined my fucking life. I lost over 50 pounds, I looked nothing like my fucking self Shawn. This damn break up almost ended my life, my fucking life Shawn. " I say now full out in tears.

Shawn was crying too, he covers his hand with his mouth in shock tears streaming down his face. I push past him unlock the door and walk out. I was full out crying and I couldn't stop, no one knew I tried to kill myself 3 times in those 4 mouths that made life hell for me.

I walk out and Cameron sees me and stands up instantly and runs to me, he try's to wrap his arms around me but I reject him, I walk over to my seat grab my phone and purse and walked out not a word to be said.

I was at the hotel and I text Christian, I was still crying that's why I didn't call him.

* conversation *

M: " Christian, are you with anyone ? "

C: " Hey beautiful, and no. Is everything okay ? "

M: " No, I need someone right now "

C: " okay I'll be over in 10 minutes, change into something comfy. Beautiful everything will be okay. "

M: " please hurry. "

I change and wipe my makeup off, then I hear a knock at the door. I open it and see Christian. I hug him instant and just cry. He was rubbing my back, he gave the best hugs. He was an amazing guy.

" Marije what's wrong ? " He says

I tell him everything and try not to cry, he wraps his arms around me, " I am so sorry Marije " he says.

I get up and hop into my bed, I wave him over to come and lay down with me. I cuddle up next to, I felt so safe.

I started drifting off to sleep after awhile.
