Chapter 2

• Marije's POV •

We were finally at the hotel.

Hunter never knew about my past and she sure didn't know I still cut.

She was my bestfriend so I couldn't tell her that I do cut. She'd never I mean NEVER want to be my friend again.

We stayed at the hotel two nights before Magcon just so we could get ready for the next day. Hunter and I thought it would be cool to do the bestfriend paint challenge. It's were you ask your friend question about yourself that they should know, but if they got them wrong they got hit with paint. We started doing the challenge, after 10 mins paint was everywhere and we used all of are towels to clean it up so I went down stairs to get some more towel.

I was watching Hayes vines while waiting for the elevator, the elevator door open and i got in not caring who was in there, I was just laughing so hard at his vines. Then I hear someone behind me say " so you like my vines, huh? " I turned around to see Hayes, Cameron, Shawn, Matt, Nash looking at me. I started blushing for no reason, I had the biggest smile on my face all I thought was 'I'm in a elevator with half of the boys' then I elevator just stopped. The doors didn't open or anything, we were stuck.

We got a call 2 mins later saying that the elevator had stopped in between floors that we might have to stay in the elevator for a while. I didn't talk to the boys at all it seemed to weird, so we didn't talk.

Hunter called me 5 mins later screaming her head off worried about me asking where I was and all of this stuff. I just told her I would text her instead because it was just awkward silence in the elevator. When I told Hunter what happened and told her who I was in an elevator with she fricked out. No joke she was going nuts. I told I would be fine.

Thank god I had my headphones with me, I didn't have anything else to do and I guess music was just my escape from the world. We got another call and I answered again, they said that they can't find a way to get us out so we have to wait longing in the elevator. I told the boys and they just ignored me. Man was this awkward.

My favorite song came on "Skinny Love, by Birdy " I started singing out loud not knowing and I felt like someone/people were looking at me and then I remembered I was in an elevator with the boys still. Oh god kill me now !

I looked up to see all of the boys with there phones out recording me. I covered my face and heard Matt say "we already posted you singing, you're amazing " I just ignored him because I sucked at singing Hunter always made me sing for her, one day I told her I was horrible and she smacked me in the face saying that if I ever said that again she would never speak to me again and that we wouldn't be friends anymore. She was serious on what she said.

2 and a half hours have gone by, it started getting so hot in the elevator. I only had shorts and a hoodie with a sports bra underneath, I couldn't take the heat anymore. I got up and took my hoodie off, I was in shorts and a sports bra right now, and I look over to see the boys starting at me. I could have cared less, it was hot and I was sweating so if you were me you would do the same !

It was just awkward still.

3 hours past and still no call, until I heared the phone ring. I answered it, the officer said he was trying his best but nothing was working to get us out, he told me since I was the only girl and probably the lightest to climb up to the top of the elevator to get the backpack that had food and water. FINALLY.

I went up and and boys looked at me weirdly wondering what I was doing. I seen two backpacks one with a hole bunch of food and one with soda, water, and juice. I just jumped back in the elevator with the two backpacks. I spilled the one with all the food out. I grabbed starburst, sour patch kids, and goldfish and a soda.

Nash was mad at me because I look the starburst, I took 5 and threw the rest to him and his face lite up. He looked at me and smiled I just rolled my eyes with a little laugh smile. We get another phone call saying for me to go back up to get more food and drinks and get clothes so I went up and came back down with the clothes. I threw Nash his bag of clothes, then Shawn, then Matt, then Hayes, and finally Cameron. I hoped back up on top of the elevator and started changing I threw on leggings and just stayed in my sports bra because it still was really hot in that elevator with the boys. We still weren't talking but I got up and I hear Cameron say, "damn Nash, she got that ass" I pretended like I didn't hear that from him.
