Chapter 18

• Marije's POV •

I was happy, Skylynn was screaming and had a huge smile on her face.

Then I started teaching her how to play a little, I was so cute her hand were going all over the guitar strings and 5 minutes later she says " no I'm doing, I give up! "

I start to laugh and then said " are you hungry ?" She starts jumping up and down yelling " YES FOOD "

I tell her to ask if anyone else was hungry and of course they were all hungry.

Skylynn was my little helper.

* 1 hour later *

We were all done and Skylynn yelled the boys to come down, and they ran.

I put the plates on the table without making any eye contact with any of them. I then began to start cleaning up, I didn't eat anything all day and I really wasn't hungry at all.

While they were eating, I got a call from my dad. He asked were I was, I told him and he said I need to get to the hospital right away.

My little brother my brother needed to go to surgery, because of his knee and he refused to go in unless I was in there with him.

I looked at Skylynn, then I began to talk to her, " Skylynn I'm so sorry, but I have to go to the hospital. My little brother is there and he refusing to go anywhere with the doctor unless I can go with him. You can come if you want but I have to run over there as fast as I can, do you want to come ?"

I looked at her and she smiled " please can I come with you ?" She said.

I had a big smile on my face and she ran up stairs to change, I cleaned her plate and cleaned the rest of the dishes, by the time I was done Skylynn came down.

The boys looked at me and I made no eye contact. I haven't talked to anyone since I punched Nash and Hunter in the face.

We walked out the door and I told my dad to come get us. He got there in seconds. We left and got there just in time.

I looked at Skylynn and said " stay with my mom, I'll be back as quickly as I can okay. "

She gave me a light smile and said, "okay"

I took my brother into surgery and there put him to sleep, I stayed with him in the room, while they did surgery even though you're are not allowed to be in there.

* 2 hours later *

Surgery was done an hour ago and I just spent sometime with him while he was sleeping.

I then walked out and I seen all of the boys there. Shit

They all got up in a worry, I then began to speak " everything is okay, he is alright surgery went great. " everyone let out a huge sigh of relief.

They had to wait to go in but I was allowed to no mater what.

After I was done talking to then I sat next to my little brother and just talked to him again even though he was still sleeping.

I was telling him how much I loved him, and how I'll never leave him, that I'll always be there for him.

I stopped talking and 5 mins flew by and I hear a soft voice, " Hi Marije " it was my little brother, he was finally awake.

" Hi, Gjustin " I said.

I gave him a kiss on his forehead and a hug.

The doctor walks in with a smile, "Hello, Marije the sister right ?" he said

" Hi, um yes " I said

" Gjustin is doing amazing and he should be out tomorrow, we just have to put a cast on him. If anyone wants to come in and see him they are allowed to. " The doctor said

I smiled and said "okay thank you so much" and he left.

I waked into the waiting room and everyone looked so tired and bored, I walked in and said who's first.

My parents say instantly, we want to see him first. I told them the room and sat down next to Skylynn. I could tell she was really tired. She climbed into my arms and said " Marije can you sing to me again." Skylynn said.

" Here right now ? " I say to Skylynn

She lightly nodes her head.

Then I began to sing, I didn't care who was in the room. I closed my eyes and began to sing, next thing I know is that I see 7 nurses and some random people. I looked up and they all clapped after I sang, and lightly clamped because Skylynn was sleeping.

* 4 hours later *

Gjustin finally got out of the hospital and we went home, I took Skylynn in my room and put her to bed.

She feel asleep instantly and I stayed up then started to drift off. I had to sleep on the floor again which I didn't care.

* next morning *

I wake up and it 6, I hop into the shower do my thing and got out.

I put on black leggings, bright pink tank top, and vans to match them.

Skylynn woke up and we walked to her house. She got dressed while I made pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

I made blueberry pancakes chocolate chip pancakes and then just some plain pancakes, the boys woke up and ran to the table while Skylynn and I ate are food.
