Chapter 30

• Matt's POV •

I was happy Marije and I were talking again and I really missed her, I was so happy when she told me to come and sit with her for two days in a row. I sound like a girl but truly, I loved this girl and I didn't care what happened between us I would always be there for her.

When I heard about her dad all I did was cry, because her dad was seriously an amazing person, he was like my second dad. Even when Marije and I weren't talking I talked to him. I always asked him about Marije and we just talked most of the time.

We had a deep conversation when he woke up, he told me everything Marije said to him when he was in a coma and I just cried. I never knew that any of that happened to her, she was an amazing person and didn't deserver that.

* next morning *

I woke up early again and just talked to Marije's dad again, Marije finally woke up and we started getting ready for school. She was so pretty even without makeup and I hated when she wore it.

We got ready then left, I walked her to class then I walked to the car and Nash took me to school.

It was really boring and all I did was text Marije, she had volleyball and soccer practice today so I wouldn't see her till 8 but I was gonna surprise her and come to her practice.

• Marije's POV •

It was finally the end of last hour, I went to my locker grabbed everything and went to the gym for volleyball practice. I wore nike spandex, and a mussel tee, with my new nikes that matched, after I got done getting dressed for volleyball I walked out and seen Ray.

Then I look and I see Matt, I smile and wave then get into my spot. I was the server, I loved it I always started off the game.

After practice coach sits us around her and says " ok girls tomorrow is are first game and its a home game, we gotta make the school proud. "

After we were done talking i went into the locker room got my things and left, I decided not to change. I walk out and look for Matt I find him and I start walking towards him, then someone grabbed my wrist. It was Ray.

" Marije please can we talk " he said almost crying.

" Why ? What do you want to explain or say ? You cheated on me, good for you, you just lost someone you'll never get back. Have a nice day. " I say walking away and he pulls me towards him again.

" No I want to say that I lost the best thing I could possible ever love as much as you, Marije you were my first true love. I'm sorry I'm such a mess up, I ruined everything. Your dad probably hates me, you hate me, your whole family probably hates me and I hate the fact I can't have you with me. You seen that picture, and I'm not going to lie. I really did kiss that girl and I cheated on you and I feel horrible. You'll never forgive me for this mistake, but just know I love you and I always will. Goodbye princess, I hope in time you will forgive me, but I know it won't be that easy. I love you Marije. " He says

I am an emotion person so I started crying then I wiped the tears and said , " I am so stupid for doing this, but I'll give you another chance. We are going to start from the begging so, hi I'm Marije. "

" Hi I'm Ray " he says

" Well its nice to meet you Ray " I say

" Nice to meet you to Marije " he said

" I hope I see you around again, have a nice day and text me sometimes " I say

" Okay I will do so, bye " he says

I walk away and walk to Matt, he asked want happened I said nothing and we got into Nash's car.

We made are way to the hospital, my mom and brothers led after we came and I just stayed up with my dad until he had to go to sleep.

Matt and I just talked,

" You gave him a second chance didn't you. " Matt said breaking the silence.

I looked up from my phone and he had tears in his eyes.

" Y-yeah " I said

" Why ? " He said

" Because Matt, he apologized. I gave you a second chance didn't I ? " I say

" Yeah bu- " he said then I cut him off

" But what Matt ? " I said

" Because he's going to do it again and I can't see you crying again. " He said and dropped his head down.

" Matt look at me, I don't care for him." I said and his head came up and he looked at me.

" Really Marije ? " He said

" Yes Matt, " I said

Matt leans in and are lips connect, his lips are soft, it was a soft kiss then we pulled away and he gave me a cute smile and we just laid down together again and fell asleep.
