Chapter 53

*2 mouths later*

•Jack Gilinskys POV•

today marije got out of the hospital, yeah... after almost 4 mouths she finally got out.

there were A LOT of things that kept coming up so they wouldn't let her leave.

I've been here at the hospital every single day. I don't like to leave her because I get scared, I always feel like something is gonna happen so I don't leave.

cameron and I don't talk ever.

I feel like he wants to say something but is scared to.. so I don't know. he talked to marije so there are on good terms but for cameron and I, well not so much.

"ready to leave guys?" says a happy, heathy marije.

we start walking out of the room marije was in all this time, right before she leaves the room. she stops at the door and looks at the room once more then follows us. a lot of memories were put in that room.

we all get into are cars, I was in my car with marije, Jack j, aaron, hayes, and matt. everyone else was in either Sammy's, Jacobs, or Nash's car.

after awhile drive we make it to Marije's. she stops right at the door before going in. she takes a deep breath then goes in. she looks around like she didn't even know it was her house. she starts crying and matt goes to hug her.

she lets go and runs upstairs in a panic. that's weird.

matt and I look at each other then run up the stairs following marije. we she her at her door just crying looking at everything.

•Marije's POV•

damn... it's been almost 4 mouths in that hospital bed.

when I walked into my house so many memories felled into my head. so much has happened in the past years. I've been shot. I've had heart breaks. I've made amazing friendships. I've had so many memories in this house.

I run up to my room.

right when I was at my door more memories filled my head. I began to cry once more.

I slowly walk it looking and gliding my fingers across everything. everything's been so crazy these past years but they have taught me so much.

I looked at my dresser and looked at the top of it. I grabbed my stool and put it in from of the dresser. I slowly climb on the stool and looked at the top. there it was.

my journal.

I slowly grab it and climb down the stool. I just look at it and put my back to the wall and slid down. I wouldn't take my eyes off it. i take a deep breath and slowly opening the journal to the first page. when I seen my hand writing I put my hand over my mouth and tears filled my eyes.

slowly I seen everyone in my room sitting in front of me. I looked at my dad with tears in my eyes.

I cleared my throat and took a deep breath before reading...

I started laughing after reading it, so did everyone else.

"wow"

I take another deep breath and read the next page.

"wow it's been a crazy couple of years"

I say.

"yep it really has" says nash

I just looked up and smiled at him.

it's crazy how everything can happen so fast. cherish everything in life. everything happens for a reason. everything gets better. you might not think it but I promise you. you're strong. keep on fighting and never lose hope. there will be stumbles in the road but things will change.

i got up and went to mahogany and handed her the journal and walked out of the room and headed for the backyard.

"marije" i turn my head to see nash, "yes?" I say.

I sit up in the tree house and he comes up and sits across from me.

"how are you doing?" he asks

"okay, I miss everything. everyone." I spoke

"it hasn't been the same since you've been gone. I missed you...a lot."

I put my pointer finger under his chin and lifted his head up to make eye contact with me. I smiled.

"I missed you more"

"marije, I love you still okay. I know you don't feel the same cause you have Jack but please just know that I never gave up on you. i never will."

nash got up and I seen him disappear inside the house. I just kinda sat there in a dream cause that's what it felt like.
