Chapter 25

• Marije's POV •

Ray and I were walking home, we talked the whole way home. I'm not gonna lie, but I think I might like him. He really seemed like he cares,. Nash and Hayes just pretended.

He actually cared. He was really sweet and I'm happy we became friends, he showed me around the school, introduced me to so many people. I really have no idea how to thank him for everything.

We were at his street and he turned to me, " Marije, do you want to walk tomorrow again like today ? " he asked.

" Yes, I would love to " I said

" Good, and I'm going to go to your volleyball tryouts. " he said with a smile.

" Whatever you say, but I won't make it. " I said

" Are you kidding me !?
You're amazing, I seen you play ! " He said

" Thank you, " I said with a smile

We said are goodbyes and I started walking home, I went on to twitter and went though my timeline, I seen a tweet that caught my eye.

" Man, are you beautiful 😍" it was from Ray

He tweeted it when we were walking together, but I doubt its me. Lol

I finally got home and went to my room, I finally decided to talk to my parents for the first time in 3 days. I walked downstairs and sat at the table.

" Dad and mom, I want to apologizes for everything. I know I should have talked to you, but I ju- " then I got cut off by my dad

" Marije, we don't want your apologie, were just glad you finally talked to us." he said with a smile and I ran up to my mom an dad and gave them a hug.

I walked back up to my room and started doing my homework when I hear the doorbell ring, it was Ray. I walked down to see him talking to my parents well to my dad mostly, after they were done I said "Hey Ray" and smiled.

" Hey Marije " he said

" Come on " I said and we walked up stairs right before I went up I look at my dad and he says " I like that guy " I laugh to myself and we went in my room.

" I didn't know you were going to come over today " I said

" Sorry I just showed up, I forgot to charge my phone and I needed help with my homework " he said

" Oh, okay it's fine. Well let's get started " I said with a smile

We got done with all of are homework at 6 and he stayed at my house and ate dinner. We just got pizza and we took the box to my room. My dad trusted me with boys in my room so it wasn't a big deal really.

After we ate we just talked for awhile then he had to leave, so we drove him home. When we were all done it was 8:30pm so I decided to hop in the shower and get my things ready for tomorrow.

After I was done it was 9 almost 10 pm, I was really tired so I hopped into bed, plugged in my phone and fell asleep.

* next morning *

Today was finally volleyball tryouts, I was so happy but yet so scared. I packed all of my things for volleyball tryouts the night before so I didn't need to worry about them.

I then got ready for school, I wore jeans with a with a white v-neck and a scarf, then plain black vans. I walked downstairs and said bye to my parents and left.

I walked to Rays and we started waking to school, we just talked again and got on the bus and kept talking and having fun.

It was finally the end of the day and it was volleyball tryouts, I was really happy. I walked to the gym and got ready, then I walked back out to see Ray and all the guys. Oh great.
