Chapter 42

• Marije's POV •

I make it home and lock myself in my room, I take a shower, and get ready I was going to go and hangout with Ashley and stay the night over her house, my dad said it was fine.

I get out of the shower and get ready, I am wearing, white jean shorts, black mussel tee, vans to match. I put my hair in a tight bun after blow drying it. I pack my clothes and 2 bathing suits since she had a pool. I grab my purse, money, house key, phone, and leave.

Ashley and I just hung around her room, I told her everything that happened. She was shocked and mad that the same time.

" That's bullshit Nash doesn't have a say in what you can and can't do. Ugh he pisses me off, just promise not to date him. Don't make the mistake I did." She said

Wait what mistake did she make ? What happened, between Ashely and Nash ? Why is she telling my this now, I don't understand.

" What mistake ? " I say

" Nash and I use to be so close, we dated and he was so over protective. I never hung out with friends, so I ended it with him. " She said

" Why did you never tell me this ! " I say

" I don't know " she said

We look at each other and just laugh, we decided to go get ice cream. We are walking to the ice cream shop and I see Adam again, " HI ADAM " I yell to him and wave.

Ashley looks at me and say, " th-that's Adam " her mouth drops.

" Yep " I say popping the p.

" Dang Marije " she says I just laugh.

We walk over to Adam and he was with another friend I remember him from Michigan, it was Austin. He was really sweet, he is also really really shy.

" Hey guys " I say

" Hey, " they say

" Who's this cute girl ? " I guess Austin isn't as shy anymore.

" This is Ashley, Ashely this is Austin. " I say

" It's nice meeting you " Ashely says.

" We will be right back we are getting ice cream, you guys want anything ? " I say

They look at each other, then Adam spoke, " I'll have cookies and cream, ad Austin with have chocolate. Come here let me give you money. " He says pulling out his wallet.

" Oh to late I am not walking back, plus I got it anyways. " I say

" Marije, really ? " He says

" Adam, yep " I say popping the p

We get the ice cream and sit down, we have fun, we talk about random stuff. I pull out my phone an have 23 new text messages 3 from Hayes, 5 from Shawn, 8 from Cameron, 4 from Carter, and 3 from Nash.

" Hey you okay ? " Asked Austin.

" Yeah, just got a lot going on right now. " I say and look back at my phone.

Hayes 😞:

He was jealous I had you and he didn't, I tried so hard to not let it happen but I thought I could trust Matt before and he said if I didn't do it he would tell everyone my secret. I couldn't let that happen. I thought and I had to go though with it. Marije I love you, I just couldn't let that happen. I know you hate me can we just talk.

After a while Ashley and I head home, we get to her house and walk up to her room. I change and call my parents, I say goodnight and that I loved then then drifted off to sleep.

* next morning *

I wake up and its 7:52 am, I get up and hop into the shower. I wash my hair and body, I shave and get out. I blow dry my hair and I began curling the ends of my hair.

I am wearing jean Hollister shorts, Taylor's magcon t- shirt, red vans, and a red bandana to match. It's now 9:15am so I wake up Ashley.

She hops in the shower and comes out ready 2 hours later, she has curly, curly hair so it takes her forever.

But I don't care, I took forever too.

We eat and decided to go to the mall and hangout.

We start walking around again after we were done eating lunch, it was now 1:43 pm. We walk around and I thought I would officially never see this person again, but I guess I was wrong.
