Chapter 15

• Marije's POV •

I said bye to Mrs. Grier and left.

I went home and my parents were still not there so I decided to watch Netflix's. Half way though the movie I feel asleep.

***** 2 hours later *****

I woke up to my little brother saying my name in my ear. I got up and gave him a big hug and ran to my mom and gave her a hug.

I walked into my room after and just plugged my headphones in.

My dad came in my room and asked if I wanted to take the truck to a close by uhal place. I agreed and we left.

When we were driving my dad asked how I like it in North Carolina. I said fine then put my headphones in.

We got to the uhal place thing, lol. But we put it back and then grappled are car and left. We stopped to get pizza but this time we got 4 instead of 2.

I looked at my dad weirdly ' like why 4 pizzas.' Then we got in the car and he said that the Griers were coming over at 10pm. I was happy because even though it was 10 me and Skylynn were gonna hangout again.

Even though she is 4 she is really cute and I loved how much fun we have. together.

5 mins later I here the doorbell ring and I ran to the door all happy. Skylynn ran to me and gave me a huge hug. I then said hello to the rest of the family which was only Mr & Mrs Grier. (Yes I know they are divorced.)

I look 2 pizzas one for me and one for Skylynn, and I took her to my room.

She walked in and her jaw dropped, I started laughing then I asked what she was doing then she said " your room is so pretty Marije." I smiled at her and said " yours is better " and smiled again she started laughing then I asked her if she wanted to watch tv she agreed and we watched "Barney"

I really didn't care, but after 5 mins I look over and Skylynn is asleep I move her slowly out of my hands and set her on my bed and pulled the blankets to her shoulders and I left.

I headed down stairs and my mom and Mrs. Grier were talking and laughing. My dad and Mr. Grier were watching football. My brothers already fell asleep I was the only kid there.

I went to Mrs. Grier and told her Skylynn feel asleep and she was going to go get her, but then I told her " just let Skylynn sleep and tonight I would sleep on the floor." I say.

Mrs. Grier said okay, but she felt bad so she told me " you could sleep at my house in the guess bedroom."

I replied " no I am good thank you. "

I left up to my room then I started making my bed ready on the floor. I plug my phone in and fall asleep.

I woke up around 6. Skylynn was still sleeping so I decided to take a shower and shave before she could wake up.

After about 40 mins I got out. I grab leggings and a hoodie because it was kinda chilly.

I dried my hair then threw it in a mess bun, and decided not to put contacts on today to I put the glasses on. I had ray bands so I liked how they looked on me.

After I was done in the bathroom I go out into my room and grab a pair of fussy socks and then checked my phone.

3 text messages

2 missed calls

I looked at who called, it was Hunter. Then I look at my messages and see Mrs. Grier messaged me. " Hi Marije sorry if you are sleeping right now but can you watch Skylynn I have to go to the grocery store. I hope its not a problem."

I texted back " no its okay, and is the back door or something unlocked so I can take Skylynn home and she can change really fast and then we can go walk around the mall or something and spend a girls day out if that's okay ?"

I instantly got a reply back

" oh yes, I left my house key on your dresser, but keep it safe please that's are only house key and we don't want anyone to find it and stead something from are house or something."

I replied " I promises I will, I'll text you when we are at the mall."

" okay, there should be 100 in her room, i put in there just incase she ever needed money." Mrs. Grier said.

" okay, we'll ill talk to you later." I said

I checked my other messages and it was just Hunter, I didn't even read it I deleted the message and decided to wake Skylynn up so she could get ready and we could leave.

She woke up in joy. I told her everything and she was excited.
