Chapter 29

• Marije's POV •

I looked up to see Matt, his eyes were all puffy and his eyes were blood shot.

I looked at him and he slowly walked up to me, he pulled out his phone and I see a text from him. It said " can we talk.."

I looked up and shook my head yes, I got up and we walked out and we went into another room, then he began to speak,

" Marije, I-I-I am sorry for everything. The pain I put you though, I regret it now more than ever. I started crying when I heard about your dad, I'm sorry. I just wish I could be Ray, I could get to hold your hand whenever I wanted to, kiss your lips, cuddle up with you, see your beautiful face whenever, hear you beautiful voice, I just wish I was that guy you fell in love with, but I was to late. Marije you mean the world to me and I know that I'll never have a chance with you, I just wish you would have gave me a chance. I got pushed away, I cried myself to sleep every night, just the thought of you brought tears to my eyes. That was because I didn't have you, I want you and only you, nothing will ever be the same anymore, I'll always remember you Marije. I hope you give me a chance, I hope we can become something one day. I missed you, and I always prayed to God asking for you to be there with me, that I could be the one to kiss, hug, and show you all my love but I guess I wasn't him. I guess I wasn't your prince, but you are and always will be my princess. I love you Marije, and I will never stop fighting for your love. "

When he was talking tears started streaming down my face. I was speechless, nothing came out. Then my phone went off, I got a text and it was from Ray, he sent me a picture and it was him kissing another girl then he texted " that party was crazy, " tears filled my eyes then I texted him and said " look at the name you sent this to "

" Marije, its not what it looks like. " He said

" Are you kidding me Ray, you cheated and we are done ! " I said

I began to cry, i made loud sobs and Matt asked what happened, I showed him the picture and I began to cry even more.

He came and conferred me, and I just sat there and cried in his shoulder, we walked back to my dads room and he was still sleeping, and I was still crying. I pulled aways and walked to the bed next to my dad and laid down and I told Matt to come and sit with me, because I truly was not okay and I need someone.

My dad in the hospital, Ray cheated on me, what else wanted to come my way. My eyes began to feel heavy and I fell asleep with Matt's arms around me.

* next morning *

I woke up and Matt was not next to me, he was siting in the chair next to my dads bed and I heard him and my dad laughing, I look a picture and it was perfect. I smiled and got up, my dad said " good morning Marije "

" Good morning daddy " I said then looked at Matt and said,

" Good morning Espinosa "

" Good morning beautiful " he said and I blushed.

My dad looked happy and so was I, I looked at Matt and smiled. He got up and said " I'm going to get us breakfast" and he got up and left.

I looked at my dad and he said " so you and Matt ?"

" Nothing is going on between us, Ray cheated on me and he was there for me and he is there for me when you are here. " I said

" Marije, I know Matt told me everything. I really don't like you dating because for that reason, but you need to give him a chance. I think Matt deserves it. " He said

" I know I should but what if something happens. " I said

" What do you mean ? " He said

" What if we don't work out ? " I said
