Everything Happens for a Reason- A Jemi Love Story

Episode 14

Demi wakes up the next morning feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the first show of the tour. She's that kind of person who dreads doing something but as soon as she is out there is enjoys in so much that she could just be out there for days on end. Demi wonders through into the living area seeing Joe dosing on the couch obviously noticing that Sadie had cried wanting something and he just dosed off once he'd seen to her. She walks over taking a sleeping Sadie up in her arms before making her way into the room Joe shares with Scarlett seeing she is still asleep. She lays her down in the crib before making her way back through beginning to make herself a coffee as quietly as she can. When Demi is on the road she likes to be as normal as she can, cook where she can and clean by herself. She doesn't like people doing things for her, she barley likes the fact that she has to take Joe everywhere she goes. She'd rather fight her own battles.

"Sorry did I wake you?" Demi says when she notices Joe stretching while rubbing his eyes, she can't help but smiles slightly.

"No it's fine." Joe says standing up making his own coffee still looking  and feeling half asleep, Demi can't help but giggle making him look at her. She laughs again and he shakes his head taking a sip of his coffee which he just added milk and sugar to.

Scarlett sits down on the couch next to Demi Sadie in her arms sleeping peacefully after having a feed. The room was quiet but not a awkward silence, Demi was watching the news so they weren't in conversation. They have had a good conversation when Joe went to bed early the night before and got to know each other a bit better. Demi turns towards the bathroom when she hears something, Joe singing while he is in the shower, she smiles slightly.

"Joe sings?" Demi questions and Scarlett nods.

"He doesn't do it often." She states readjusting Sadie in her arms so she's more comfortable.

"Why not? He's really good." Demi admits still hearing him.

"When we were at school he was pushed to do music because they thought he was so good, he plays a few instruments as well but all he's ever wanted to do it football so I guess you could say he protested." Scarlett explains.

"Well that's wrong of them." Demi says and she nods.

"He hasn't picked up a guitar since." scarlet added.  

"Awe he should do now, he's not in school." Demi responded.  

"Try telling him that," Scarlett begins standing up. "I need to go get some supplies for Sadie, could you look after her? She's just had a feed so she should be fine until I get back." Demi nods taking Sadie from her mother's arms. Scarlett slips a jacket on and her shoes before exiting the bus leaving Demi alone with Sadie in her arms still listening to Joe singing. She can't help but smile at the sound, he sounds really good to Demi but she doesn't blame him for demanding not to do it anymore if he was somewhat pushed into doing it when he clearly said that football was his passion. Demi looks down at Sadie and smiles at the little girl in her arms. She admires her features for a couple of moments until she notices something. Her chest raising up and down in a fast pace,  she quickly tries to find her pulse but there isn't one.

"Joe!" She screams in fear Joe soon running through hearing the fear in her tone rushing over to them. "Call 911, she's not breathing very well!" Demi exclaims and Joe leaps for a phone dialing the number quickly.

                            Joe hangs the phone up taking a seat next to Demi on the couch staring down at his daughter in shock. He can't lose her, not after having her in his laugh for a good couple of weeks. Demi trying not to cry and stay strong for Joe, knowing that if she breaks down and starts crying that it will give Joe a reason to as well.

"She'll be fine Joe." Demi states laying her on the couch in-between them Joe's gaze never leaving her

Got college, I might update when I get home if not for sure tomorrow, I have a day off :)
