That was the moment Demi's world crashed around her. The guy she had been in love with for a couple of years now had just accused her of cheating. She'd never cheat on anybody, she believes that if she wanted to be with someone else she would just break up with him so she's pretty sure she had never cheated on him. Demi stays quiet as does Joe feeling the tension between the both of them, he feels awkward just sat there. Wilmer doesn't speak again so Demi does.

"Good one genius, where'd you get that from?" She questions thinking it will just be an excuse so he doesn't have to be a dad to this baby, a reason to break up with her and a reason to never see or speak to her again.

"I've been away for months filming and we hadn't had sex once she I came back, how can you be pregnant with my baby?" He questions his blood boiling in his veins shocked that Demi would do such a thing. Demi thinks about it and then comes to the reality that he is right, they hadn't had any sexual contact in at least five months if not a little bit longer.

"I-It's true." Demi stutters Joe's eyes widening, he'd never think she would have done such a thing but nothing surprises him anymore, he's had enough of them for a lifetime.

"Who was it with?" Wilmer questions a little calmer then looking over at Joe, Joe looks back up at him shaking his head.

"It wasn't me." Joe states positive it wasn't him, he would have cheated on Scarlett if he would have done and he'd never do that, especially as soon as he found out she had cancer. He wanted to care for her after that, not think that it's over and move onto someone else before she had even left his side. Demi begins crying again having no idea who it was with, she doesn't remember a thing besides getting drunk one night. That must have been the night she conceived.

"I don't know who it was," Demi confesses. "I was drunk one night when I was stressed and needed to get away from it but I don't know who it was, I didn't even know I had sex with anyone. I woke up with all my clothes on in my own bed."

"We're fucking over, I'll be over tomorrow to get my stuff." Wilmer snaps before storming out the door. Demi bursts more into tears when she hears the door slam. Joe sighs bringing her up into his arms again allowing her to cry into his chest until she falls asleep in his arms, he gently lays her down on the bed moving the hair away from her face which is sticking to her wet cheeks. He quickly checks on Sadie before switching the movie off climbing back on the bed himself. That night was the best night's sleep he's had since Scarlett left him. He had someone he cares about next to him just how he likes it.

Demi wakes up the next morning by hearing crying. She sits up noticing Joe still asleep surprised that she hadn't woke up him but he soon does when he feels Demi's movement mixed with the crying. He takes a deep breath rubbing his eyes gently.

"I got her." Demi breaths getting off the bed making her way over to the crib instantly knowing she needs her diaper changing.

"She may want feeding as well." Joe states climbing off the bed too making his way out of the bedroom rolling his eyes when he sees Wilmer in the living area. He just decides to ignore him and get on with what he needs to do.

"I break up with her just last night and you already sleep with her, good one." Wilmer scolded, Joe just couldn't ignore that comment.

"I didn't sleep with her, I was comforting her after you broke her heart." Joe begins pouring the water into the powder at the bottom of a baby bottle. "You're losing out on a lot, Demi isn't just your average girl." Joe states screwing up the lid of the bottle as he makes his way back into the bedroom taking Sadie from Demi who is still whimpering slightly placing the bottle into her tiny mouth watching as her long eyelashes bat against her soft cheeks.
