Episode 43

Demi makes her way up the stairs and into Joe's bedroom smiling slightly when she sees him fast asleep on the bed. He had slept all the way through the night which only happens every couple of nights. She makes her way over to the bed laying down next to him beginning to stroke his hair gently smiling slightly when he opens his eyes revealing his chocolate brown eyes squinting so he could get used to the light.

"What a nice way to wake up." Joe mumbles making her giggle and lean down pressing her lips on his. Joe kisses back Demi not being bothered that his has morning breath. She smiles through the kiss when he pulls her down on the bed next to him carefully knowing she has a little boy in her womb, his little boy.

"Joe you need to get ready for your appointment," Demi mumbles against his lips before pulling away again so he can't capture her into another kiss. She's knows then he'll be able to get around not getting up quite yet. Joe groans making her laugh. "Come on big boy." She teases patting his chest before exciting the room with Sadie in her arms. Joe can't help but smile before climbing up off his bed and wondering into the bathroom jumping into the shower.

Joe climbs out of the car giving Demi a kiss on the head before taking Sadie out the car seat. His mom said that she would look after her while he went to his counselling appointment even though he wishes that she could come in with him. He knows that isn't suitable. He wonders up the steps after telling Demi he won't be a minute walking through the open door that is being held open by Denise. She gives him a kiss on the head taking the car seat from him.

"I hope everything goes alright." Denise states.

"It will, I just need a little bit more help." He states kneeling down on the floor so he is level with the car seat. He leans in kissing Sadie on the head before jumping back up again giving his mom a hug before he makes his way back out and into the car pulling off onto the road after looking for oncoming traffic.

Demi grabs onto Joe's hand pulling him out the car park and into the building allowing him to sign in before leading him over to the seats where they both take a seat Demi this time sensing how nervous he is. She knows already he doesn't particularly like meeting new people. She takes hold of his hands kissing the side of his head helping him relax a bit.

"Joe Jonas?" They hear looking up seeing a women around mid thirties dressed in a summery top and smart trousers. "You want to come through?" She questions and Joe nods letting go of Demi's hand  standing up wondering into the room. He takes a seat opposite the desk feeling like a little boy again in the principal's office.

"You okay?" She questions as she takes a seat on her large black leather chair, Joe nods his head gently Molly already being able to write something down. The fact he isn't talking much. "Why are you here today then?" She questions and Joe sighs.

"I guess I need a bit of help getting over my fiancé's death." Joe states.

"When did she die and how may I ask?" She questions and Joe nods.

"It was a couple of months ago now, she died of Cancer." Joe explains.

"How long was you with her for?" She questions Joe adding it up in his head.

"7 years." He states simply.

"It says here you have a daughter together, Sadie?" She inquires and Joe nods smiling slightly at the sound of his daughter. She's just so happy and chirpy at the moment, the only time she isn't smiling and giggling is when she is crying to be fed or changed. Words can't describe how much Joe loves his daughter, he just wants her to be by his side for the rest of his life. "I'm no medical doctor but have you thought about having her checked for cancer?"

I don't know if I will post anymore today, I've started writing 'Fear His Curse' again for those who read that. I'm planning on finishing it off today so keep your eye out for that if you read it. I don't know how long it will take but once I'm done I'll write more of this one :)
