Everything Happens for a Reason- A Jemi Love Story

Episode 38

Sorry about yesterday, Tuesdays are just my long days at college and we have exams coming up and such so I have to do work for them after lunch

Demi was joined with Joe in a dressing room getting ready for an interview, the interview in which she will announce that she will be having a baby by the end of the year but she can't help but be nervous. Joe wonders into the room after going to the bathroom taking his place back next to Demi already sensing how nervous she is. He wraps his arm around her pulling her up so she's sitting on his lap, he kisses the side of her head knowing she doesn't want him to kiss her yet. Demi can't help but smile looking at him.

"You don't need to be nervous, I'm sure they'll still love you and they'll love your baby." Joe states and Demi sighs beginning to play with the bottom of his shirt.

"I know, it's just the whole situation that's worrying me." She explains and Joe's eyebrows furrow together in confusion. Demi laughs slightly when she looks up at his expression making him let lose and his expression change.

"What do you mean?" Joe questions.

"Like he or she won't have a dad, they'll have a famous mom and most likely be in magazines and such, I just don't want my son or daughter to have that. I want them to have a normal life but it's going to be impossible with the situation we're in." Demi confesses Joe smiling slightly at how much she already cares about this baby, he expected it but it still bring s a smile on his face. A smile Demi had missed seeing over the last couple of months.

"You could get a court order saying any reporters can't take a picture of your baby or if they do when they get a picture of you they have to blur it out." Joe suggests.

"Okay but they still won't have a dad." She states. She always promised herself she'd never have a baby and they don't have a father figure, she believes they need that in their life boy or girl just because she didn't have a very good one when she was younger.

"I'll be their dad." Joe assured wondering whether that was the best thing to say.

"Really, why?" Demi asks.

"You're basically being Sadie's mom so I'll be your son or daughter's dad," Joe requested and Demi smiles nodding her head liking that idea. All she needs now is for him to find out what he wants so she can finally admit her feelings back to him. She'd noticed how quickly they became connected, far shorter than it did Wilmer and she can't deny how good looking she thinks he is. But for Demi it's all about personality. She loves the fact that he is so outgoing and that he was shy but suddenly now full of energy. "Anything else you want to know?" He questions,

"Not that I can think of at the moment." Demi told and Joe nods watching her carefully as she continues playing with his shirt in the comfortable silence. He smiles watching her beginning to realise what he really wants in his life. He wants her. He wants to be able to kiss her, hold her in his arms of a night. He falls more and more in love with her every day, something that he hadn't experience since he met Scarlett.

"Demi." Joe mumbles making her look up at him, his hands move up to her face starting to stroke her cheek gently. Demi closes her eyes enjoying the feeling of his soft thumbs on her cheeks becoming shocked when she feels his lips on hers but she kisses back desperately wanting him to carry on. Joe adds as much passion as he can into his before pulling away moments later being breathless. He gives her a small smile as she lays her head down on his chest.

"I want you to be mine." Joe whispers in her ear still a bit breathless, Demi smile against his chest which he could feel. 

"Sounds good to me." Demi mumbles kissing his chest as it was the only place she could reach. Joe's smile becomes wider at the fact that she is now all his and nobody can do anything about it but admit it to themselves because he is going to try and be the best boyfriend he can to Demi. He knows she's been through so much in the twenty one years she has been living on this planet and she deserves to be told and shown that she is loved.
