Everything Happens for a Reason- A Jemi Love Story

Episode 30

I can't believe it's Episode 30 and Jemi aren't even together! haha

They both stare at Demi Wilmer more in shock then Joe is. Wilmer never wanted kids but never told Demi about it, he didn't know what he was going to do when it came to the time Demi wanted to settle down with him and have a couple of children. He just doesn't think he's the dad kind of person, he sees himself with dogs acting as if they are his children rather than actually having any.

"W-What?" Wilmer questions and Demi takes a deep breath wiping her eyes dry.

"I think I'm pregnant." She states.

"What do you mean think?" Joe questions grabbing her wrist sitting her down on the couch taking a seat next to her rolling his eyes when he sees Wilmer storm out. That just makes Demi cry harder. Joe pulls her into a hug letting her cry into his chest. He can remember how scared Scarlett was when she found out she was pregnant, they hadn't planned it so it came to a surprise to both of them. Joe had just nine months to prepare himself to become a dad and three months in he finally thinks he's getting used to it. It takes a couple of minutes for Demi to calm down enough to speak to Joe explaining all the details.

"Thanks." Demi mumbles pulling away from him slightly put his arm still wrapped securely around her waist. Demi can't help but feel safe as if she needs to go to Joe everytime she feels scared or hurt, it's a feeling she's never experienced before.

"You're welcome," Joe begins wiping her eyes. "Why do you think you could be pregnant?"   

"I missed my period." She states simply taking the tissue from him as he holds it out for her.

"Could it just be irregular?" Joe suggests, Demi shrugs.

"I don't think so, they've always been on time and I never missed one," She states leaning her head back onto his chest. "You can't leave Joe, I can't be alone through this." She mumbles slightly but he heard making him smile and kiss her head.

"I won't, I promise." He claimed.

"Thank you." She stutters still shaking trying to get her breathing under control.

Joe rushes up through the gate trying his best not to punch one of the reporters demanded answers off him about Scarlett. He's trying to be strong for Demi at the moment, he knows how tough it must be for her to find out she could be pregnant and Wilmer just walking out on her. He wonders up onto the bus a pregnancy test in a bag ready for Demi to take when she's ready to. He closes the door behind him smiling when he sees Demi with Sadie bouncing her up and down as he legs dangle just above her own. He can see why she might be scared if she is pregnant but he can also see how great of a mom she will be to her son or daughter. 

"Daddy's home!" Demi exclaims kissing all over Sadie's face making Sadie smile wider as well as her dad. It looks as if she's trying to giggle but hasn't got a voice. Joe takes a seat next to Demi kissing Sadie's head.

"You wanna take it now?" Joe questions laying it on his lap.

"I suppose I better get it over and done with." Demi admits to herself allowing Joe to take Sadie away from her as she grabs the test from his lap. She wonders into the bathroom reading the instructions on the box as she does. She enters the bathroom following the exact instructions so she makes sure it can be as accurate as it can before setting a timer on her phone for three minutes like it said to. She pulls the toilet seat down and takes a seat on it staring at the cabinet ahead of her debating what's going to happen in the future. She so wants to carry on with her music career which won't be possible with a little one getting in the way but at the same time she wants to be pregnant to get the amazing experience behind it. She shakes her head very much knowing that she may not even be pregnant, if she isn't she will need to go to the doctor about why her period hadn't come. She was knocked out of her thoughts by the buzzing coming of her I phone, she stops the buzzer picking up the test from the sink flipping it over peering over to see the results.
