Everything Happens for a Reason- A Jemi Love Story

Episode 41

Weeks go by and soon Demi is twenty weeks along, she had gotten tones of support from her family, her friends and her fans. She is more excited than ever to be having this baby and it all seems to be falling into place besides knowing who the father of her baby is. Joe had never told her that he believes he is even after Nick and Kevin pretty much demanding that he does. They know he hasn't but don't think it's their place to tell her so all they can do is carry on encouraging Joe to do it himself. He just doesn't dare thinking he will lose her afterwards and he doesn't want that. The dreams had continued to happen Joe not even telling Demi what they are about, she wants to help him through it but it's near impossible when he won't let her in. Joe doesn't know it yet but she isn't in a happy relationship. She just feels as if he's hiding so many things away from her. They are at the hospital at the moment ready for Demi's twenty week scan, she will also be finding out what's she's having. She never understood how anyone can wait all that time to find out what their having, she's too impatient for that. She wants to know as soon as possible so she get everything prepared for his or her's arrival which isn't son enough for her liking.

"I changed my mind, I want a boy," Demi states holding onto Joe's hand. "No a girl." Joe can't help but laugh squeezing her hand tighter. They also haven't confirmed their relationship but they don't hide it either, the fans and press can believe whatever they want.

"I think you want a boy." Joe states.

"And why is that?" Demi questions looking up at him.

"Because you don't want me to be outnumbered." Joe states and she laughs slightly leaning her head on his shoulder. He leans down kissing her hair. Demi's name soon gets called both of them hoping up of the chair following her through into the room where is will take place. Demi lays down on the table like instructed smiling when her baby comes up on the screen squeezing Joe's hand making him smile wider. He'll never forget all the appointments he went to with Scarlett and now he has Demi's to add to his memory.

"I think you can tell where the head and feet are," She presume and Demi nods clearly seeing. "I can see two hands, two feet with ten fingers and toes on each.

"That's always good." Joe states at they laugh.

"Good size as well, would you like to know the gender?" She asks and Demi nods her head quickly making her laugh again. She begins looking at the screen closely to try and discover what the sex of the baby will be. "Looks like your having a boy." She reveals both Demi and Joe's smile widening.

"I can't believe I'm having a son!" Demi exclaims as she walks out the room Joe's hand in her own, Joe smiles squeezing her hand. He knew that she wanted a boy, he doesn't know why or how but he just did.

"You thought about names yet?" Joe questions knowing it was one of the first things him and Scarlett thought about when they found out that she was pregnant. Joe wanted to find out what they were having at twenty weeks but Scarlett didn't so he just caved in and waited himself, longest week of his life so he says. He wants to make sure he likes the name as he probably won't be able to join in helping with it.

"Um I have a couple but I don't think I'll decide until he's here." Demi states leading him through the hospital until they are outside where Joe begins doing his job on keeping the reporters away from her talking about something different. The reporters are begging Demi to tell them what she's having so they can be the first to tell everyone but she won't, she'll tweet about it when she gets in something she wishes she would have done when she found out she was pregnant.

"What names have you decided?" Joe questions hanging their jackets up wrapping his arm around her waist as she wraps hers around his neck.

"Um I like Jack and Theo, aw I can just see a little Theo running around! " Demi exclaims.

I was gonna do twins but I didn't think it suited the story very well and I already wrote most of this Episode last night and said she was having a boy :P 

I will update around 5pm (UK time) I get in at 4 but it gives me an hour to write, it may be a little before :) Last day of the week for me haha
