Demi groans as she pushes as hard as she can sighing of relief when the pressure from her legs goes away as cries fill the room. Demi smiles when she gets the first glimpse of her son. The baby boy relaxes as soon as he feels his mothers touch. The next couple of minutes were blurry for Demi her son being taken away from her to get weighed and measured Joe by her side the whole time holding onto her hand.

"Well done Dems, you did it." Joe whispers in her ear kissing her head before pulling the hair away from her sweaty face. The baby soon gets handed back to his mother after the check over allowing Demi to get a good look at him.

"Zane." She states Joe's eyebrows furrowing together in confusion.

"I thought you were set on Theo?" Joe questions.

"He doesn't look like a Theo, he looks like a Zane." Demi confesses Joe not helping but smiling looking down at his son,  not that Demi knows he is his son. Demi follows Joe's glance observing all his features. She then looks up at Joe seeing how nervous he is, she then realises how much her son looks like the guy in front of her becoming shocked a little bit. She can't be doing with this at the moment so she pushes it aside deciding to confront him tomorrow when she has had a goodnights sleep, if her son will allow her. Demi sighs closing her eyes feeling someone take Zane from her arms knowing it will be Joe allowing her to drift off to sleep, it's only 9pm so she has the whole night to catch up on energy she lost pushing a 7'2 baby out of her body, hopefully. Joe looks down at his son sighing slightly noticing Demi is sound asleep.

"Hey there son, you probably shouldn't have come into this world full of drama, I hope your brave." Joe mumbles as the little boy also slowly drifts off in his arms knowing he is with one of his parents. Joe sighs again laying him down in the plastic crib been left for him covering him up in a blanket before taking a seat on the couch lifting his legs up on it slouching down as much as he can. It took Joe a while to get to sleep unlike Demi and Zane just deep in thought.

Joe was woken by crying, he snaps his eyes opening seeing Demi changing Zane's diaper, he always wakes up after they have nearly finished. Joe sits up on the couch groaning when he feels an ache on his back from sleeping on the couch. He has a good stretch before standing up walking over helping Demi put the diaper on the right way.

"Thanks." Demi mumbles wrapping him back up in the blankets knowing her parents will be over from Texas soon to meet their grandson, she'll ask them to bring a couple of clothes over though the nurse said everything seems okay so she may be able to leave today. Joe picked up on Demi's mood taking a seat next to her going to wrap his arm around her but she pushes him away.

"What's wrong?" Joe questions.

"Why does my son look like you?" Demi questions not leaving her glance off the little boy who is slowly drifting off to sleep content with a feed and a clean diaper. Joe stays silent so Demi speaks again. "How do I know you didn't take advantage of me when I was drunk? Did you know I was pregnant with your baby but you just decided to keep it from me?" Demi asks wanting so many answers to so many questions.

"I didn't take advantage of you, I was drunk too," Joe explains. "I remembered quite early in the pregnancy but I didn't tell you because I didn't want to hurt you or admit to myself I cheated on Scarlett." Joe doesn't look up from the bed sheet.

"Why would you hurt me by telling me your the dad, look at him Joe," Joe's glance then moves to Zane who is asleep. "He's beautiful Joe, he's our baby but if your too ashamed to be a dad to this little boy then just leave. I don't want him to one day have a dad  then find out that he's left because he's ashamed of being his dad." Demi demands and Joe sighs thinking it's best to give her some space to think, he gets up and leaves closing the door quietly. It wasn't until that moment Demi started crying.
