I sucked in a deep breath as my fingers played with the hem of my dress nervously. The sound of the clock ticking echoed in the room made my nervousness went crazy every second it ticked. The room that I was in did not give me any calmness at all. The stack of papers made a huge mountain in the corner of the room. A wide desk with its boss chair gave me the aura of dominance, making me shrink back to the soft, black leather couch.

At least, the couch that I am sitting on gives my butt a relaxation.

Today, I should present my idea of the biggest event of the year in the Red Moon Pack in front of Alpha Mason and Luna Ellie. This two days, I had worked my butt off in brainstorming how Killian would like his birthday to be like. And, I should admit: it was so hard. My brain felt like exploding into chunks because of thinking hard. I even had ripped thousand sheets of paper in order to have a satisfying theme and concept of the party. And now, my bedroom was a sea of paper.

I just hope my sleepless nights will be paid by their nods.

The door suddenly was yanked open and two figures who made my butt tremble were entering the room. I instantly stood up and bowed in respect, "Alpha. Luna."

"Really? How many times should I remind you, Darling? You don't have to bow in front of us." Luna Ellie patted my back and scolded me in soft tune.

"But, but, Luna-"

"Sweetheart, you are just like our daughter. So, drop the formalities. Call us Mason and Ellie," Alpha Mason said with a warm smile. Seeing his smile made me recall the memories of those warm smile, from his "mini-me".

I smiled back to him. "Okay."

Luna Ellie sat beside me while Alpha Mason sat in front of us. I took out my file binder from my bag and put it on the table.

"So, how are you doing, Sweetheart?" Alpha Mason started the talk.

"I'm great, Al- I mean, Mason," I smiled shyly, fiddling my fingers on my lap. Even though he asked me to call him with his first name, I could not lie that his powerful aura made me cower away. It was the same aura that Killian possessed since he was the Young Alpha. The strong aura that could make a bulky guy peed in his pants just by being in the same room.

I inwardly scolded my mind for being ridiculous right now. Really? Don't think of him right now!

Luna Ellie beamed at her mate while stroking my hair in a motherly way. "She has worked hard in her school and pack daycare, Mason. She is really good with newborn pups and pups in the daycare. Every time she was not there, the pups would ask for her. Bertha told me so."

Alpha Mason beamed back at his mate while I was looking at the ground, feeling shy that I became the topic of their conversation.

"Really, Ellie?" Luna Ellie nodded enthusiastically. Alpha Mason tilted his head to give me a huge grin. "She is really a keeper. Your mate will be so lucky, Sweetheart."
