"I'm so excited for you, Darling!" Lou exclaimed in excitement. The energy in her voice was contagious, sweeping the horrific imagination of the next minutes far away from my mind.
A weak smile kissed my lips immediately, showing her the benefit of her excitement. "I'm excited, too, but I'm nervous," I stated softly while playing with the hem of my sweatshirt. I could not stop the nervousness of stepping to a new kind of life as a full werewolf.
Full werewolf. I like the sound of that.
"Don't worry, Honey," Kayla chirped, putting her hand on my shoulder and giving it a slight squeeze. "We're here for you." She smiled.
I put my hand on top of hers, letting her know that I really appreciated her encouragement. "Thank you, Kayla," I thanked her softly, focusing my gaze on the beautiful full moon that shone its brightest tonight. The moon lit the meadow so beautifully, making it look like a magical fairy land that only appeared once in a full moon. The wind softly brushed my hair, silently telling me that I could do this.
With my friend by my side.
Pam and Lisa clapped their hands in excitement. Since I told them that I finally had my wolf with me, they had been showering me with hugs and claps full of happiness. The smiles were on their face and could not be swiped off with anything, making me afraid that their jaws would be separated from the rest of their faces. To top that, both of them embraced my arms like two koalas clung to their mother and refused to let them go along our way to the meadow.
The meadow where the dream would come true just in a matter of time.
"Okay, no need to be nervous, Honey," Selena suddenly chirped in glee. I could tell she was being impatient right now to wag her tail in a real world rather than in a confined mind. "I'll tell you what you need to do."
My gaze met all my friends who was circling around me right now, making space for the biggest changing in my life. Big smiles plastered on their faces, with their eyes telling me to go on and never give in to my nervousness. I immediately gulped down the lump in my throat.
I'm scared and nervous, Sel.
"No, don't be," she lightly reprimanded me. "Every newbie experiences this at first, Honey. What you need to do is only to follow my instructions."
I nodded weakly in response while looking at the ground, finding the tall grass interesting under the moonlight.
"Now, strip," Selena ordered softly. My eye immediately bulged out its socket as I brought my gaze to meet Lou in front of me. She gave me a quizzical look, but her smile never dropped.
Strip? As in?
"As in taking off your sweatshirt and pants. As in leaving only your panty and bra on your body. Yes, Honey." She sighed. "Come on. Don't be shy."
