"Killy! Alpha Brandon is here!"
"Okay, lead him to my office, please, Munchkin. I'm still... um... busy."
I rolled my eye and turned back to the living room. The back of a gigantic Alpha male immediately welcomed me, along with the pine scent and powerful aura. He, then, turned back to face me. His frown etched upon his sun-kissed skin, making him more powerful and domineering.
"So, where's he?" I could swear every furnishings in the room vibrated along with his deep voice.
"Um, he's still getting ready."
"No wonder. A ladies man will take longer in front of a mirror." He chuckled. With his bulky figure, it was weird to see him chuckling like a little kid. He looked like a devil "Oops, sorry, Luna."
Ignoring his remark, I said, "He wants you to wait in his office."
"Then, lead the way, Luna."
I turned around and started walking upstairs to Killian's office. Ever since the day I decided to give my heart a chance to trust him again, he persuaded me to live with him and his family. It was not easy at the beginning. I used to be alone at my place ever since Nana had left me. Sure, it was bad; I always cried waiting for Nana to laugh at my miserable state.
But now, there was no way I could be alone with my thoughts.
In the morning, Killian always peppered me with light kisses. Not once he let me out of his hold once I opened my eye. And, I would struggle to get out of his hold with some excuses. Once I was finally free from his hold, Luna Ellie immediately barged to our room, bringing a plate full of delicious breakfast and scolded Killian to let me have the bigger part of our shared plate. After breakfast, Killian and I would go to school together. He would never leave my hand even for a second, as we had all classes together. We still had several months to finally graduate and get out of the mini hellhole called school.
After school, we parted ways; him going to the office or training and me busying myself with the hustle and bustle in pack daycare with Bertha and Luna Ellie.
After dinner, Killian and I would always go to our place to watch the countless stars shining in the dark sky. He would hold me tight against his chest and just talk about anything, including his weirdest dreams. And, nearly midnight, we would leave the place and go to sleep.
This went on and on, every day, but I hardly got bored with it.
I opened the door to Killian's room, and the huge stack of paper immediately welcomed me. Killian's scent strongly radiated from the room, even when he was a hallway away from the room. His desk was decorated with open books and papers. Crumpled papers lay on the floor, along with other books.
This room surely had overcome a tornado.
"Wow." The alpha behind me whistled. "Nice decoration."
