I Still Believe In Us

Chapter 15

"Are you done" my co worker Rosie asked .

"Yeah almost" I said going through last file . She sat down on empty chair in front of my desk and put her hands on either sides of it making herself comfortable on chair .

"Well....I have something to tell ya" working here for just two weeks and I already  got to know her pretty well . Whenever she use tone like that she is about to say something I probably won't agree on .

"If you want we can go club Saturday night"

"Oh no no no.... Rosie . You know I don't really..."

"Pleaseeee Rachel pleaseee ..." she said giving me her puppy face

"Rosie you know I have lot of work to do on saturday night" I said putting bunch of files on table

"Rachel I know you are almost free on Saturday night so this excuse won't work and besides that I see your life is pretty boring . If I were you i would have died till now . You need fun , excitement and chill in your life . Living a little won't hurt Rachel" guess what I got anther great friend but still that doesn't make me lucky cause i am someone with sticker on forehead saying 'unfortunate one'
But what I have I don't take it for granted

"Okay i'll come"

"Yes yes yes....!" She was actually behaving like some seven year old who got her parents agree to go to amusement park .

"I know bell you are hungry but give me a second" just as I enter in house bell came running to me . She wasn't even giving me time to lock the door .

"Here you go" I picked her up in my arms and walked towards the kitchen .

"I am sorry to leave you alone here I know it's   difficult for you  since you never live alone but its our compulsion bell"

I gave her some cat food which she happily ate but i felt bad for giving her not enough food but i didn't had enough money to buy enough food for both of us .

My life has become so difficult . I have to sacrifice  my every wish now . Wishes are far I can't even fulfill my needs . I never thought surviving can be so difficult . But I won't lose I will keep on trying what if I am in bad condition now this time is not gonna stay somehow it will pass and I know everything  will be alright .

In the  middle of the night I heard  knocking on my door . I came out of room and slowly walked towards door . Just as I opened the door drunken Aaron fell on me .

"Gosh Aaron what are you doing here and stand on you feet" but of course he was drunk enough to ignore my every word

"I love you Rachel . You know I do..." he was unconsciously kept on saying this

I held his arms to support  him to stand . I could clearly smell alcohal from his mouth

"Stand by your own or i will drop you" but i didn't do it of course  I can't . He have capability to hurt me but i dont

"Fine let's take you to room" I finally gave up scolding him which I wasn't exactly and decided to let him stay in my house since he was drunk and can't drive himself home .

I somehow dragged him to my room and laid him on bed . Just as his head hit the pillow he closed his eyes and didn't opened them for the rest of the night .
I took off his shoes and jacket and covered his body with blanket . I sat besides him and observed his handsome sleeping face
