Chapter 20

Rachel's POV

"Oh my gosh! Rachel I can't tell you how happy I am" Jess screamed through phone causing me to flinch

"Jess stop screaming you're gonna rupture my eardrums" I said pouring myself a glass of water

"I have big news" her voice was full of excitement and I couldn't wait to know why

"Do not waste time and tell me"

"Dean popped the question" she said in single breath leaving me almost breathless

"Oh my god really" I said in as excited voice as she had few seconds ago

"I can't wait to show you the ring . Everything was so romantic....." before she could complete I intrupted

"I don't wanna hear it over phone . Come here right now , show me the ring and tell me the details" I said as I sat on small couch

"Okay I'll be there in an hour" she said and her voice was showing how happy she is

"Fine" with that I hung up and went towards kitchen where my dear Bell was waiting for me to give her food

"I am sorry if i took so long"I said while running my hand through her back and she leaned in under my touch

It's been a day since I met Will and since that he just can't stop texting me .
It's oddly nice knowing him better . He has become a good friend in short amount of time .
I feel bad when I think that he has told me his whole life and I haven't . But it's not in my control I am way more introverted than him. I know it will take time for me to open up and he is kind of person who will understand this .

Aaron's POV

"Kart give me explanation how this happened ? Everything was fine till yesturday what has happened in just one day" I yelled at my Secretary Kart who was standing in front of me almost shaking with fear

"Someone has told them that we are going to make illegal use of the money they will invest in our company" he explained in trembling voice

Why would someone do this ?
What will they get by doing this?
There were so many things going on my mind when he told me .

"This is absurd . How can they just beleive this . They  investigated everything before making a deal "I said ,my voice full of rage

"Someone must  have manipulate them very sharply"he said in low pitched voice

"Those shares were so important for this company. We should do something Kart . Go talk to them and if they still won't agree I'll talk to them " I tried to calm myself but I felt like my head's gonna explode

"I already did my best to talk this matter out but they do not want to have further negotiation . They have already send all legal papers back"

At that moment I wanted nothing but to shut my mind down . I've been working so hard for those shares and someone ruined all my hardwork for what reason i am still unaware of .

"You can go!" That all it took him to rush out of my office .

I didn't want to get angry at him when I know that its not his fault but I can't help it . I am feeling like a failure now .

I sat back on my chair and put my head on desk . These days are worst days of my life .
I don't have courage to fight with hard days anymore . Everything in my life is crashing down . And I know that I am the reason behind this .
