I Still Believe In Us

Chapter 18

Rachel closed the book placed on her lap and looked at orange cat sitting next to her feet .

She had been so tired since last week but now burden of work on her was gradually decreasing . Her financial condition was getting stable  .
Now she had enough money to feed herself and her cat .

But loneliness was whole other issue . She stopped feeling herself alive .She didn't knew for who she was still living but strange thing was that since that night of Rosie's brother's  party she was feeling like heavy weight lifted from her chest .

She wanted to learn to live without him but it was extremely difficult no matter how much she deny it .

A night after party she asked Kyle to prepare new divorce papers . She received them  a week after and send them to Aaron's house right away but after a whole week she still hasn't heard from him nor got divorce papers back .

She was confused of what was holding him back to set her free . She wanted to know the reason why he was wooing her ? She was also very curious to know about what happened between him and his mistress ?

She stood up and walked to kitchen to prepare her dinner but sight of her empty fridge caused her to growl in frustration . She ran out of grocery and now she had to take a small tour to grocery store .

Rachel was almost done shopping when she turned around to get last thing she needed and unexpectedly she bumped into big masculine figure .

"I am so sorry Miss" she heard deep voice . Strangely the voice was somehow familiar

"Oh Rachel it's you" he said as she looked up

She wasn't in mood to meet any unnessacary  person but there he was standing in front of him

"Out of all people why the hell did I had to bump into you" she said as she tried to walk away but he blocked her way with his strong arms

"Oh come on its not a way to greet someone like me sweetheart" he said making her more furious

"Don't you dare call me sweetheart you are nothing but a stranger to me" she said in  cold tone while rolling her blue eyes

"You know my name and I know your name so it doesn't make us strangers sweetheart" Will said knowing that he will only make her more furious but he liked the way her face gets red when she is angry

"Use this word again and you will lose your tongue"she tried to threaten him but failed very badly as he started to laugh at her threat

"You're too nice to do anything like this . You have heart of gold" he gave her his charming smile before adding as word to infuriate her even more

"Sweetheart"

"Get out of my way you devil" she said in state of extreme anger . She didn't knew what this jerk was trying to do .It wasn't that she hated him or something she was simply not liking him trying to befriend with her .

"Fine but on one condition" he said before smirking to himself

"I am very busy woman to stand here and hear you stupid conditions now get out of my way before I call for help" this time she was dead serious

He knew that he should stop playing games now so he decided to come to real question .

"Will you have  a coffee with me?" He wanted to ask her to go on a date with him but was afraid at same time that she would reject him so he decided to take things slow.

"No way " she said before pushing him away and escaping immediately
She felt bad for rejecting Will like this but she didn't wanted to give guy false hope as she knew  what he was actually up to .
