*LEXI'S POV*
I walked into the cafeteria with Gracie, Charlie and Joey by my side. When we entered people began to stare in our direction and mutter something to the people around them."Uh guys, why is everyone looking at us?" Joey whispered. I shook my head, not having a clue what was going on. Gracie was silent, I knew she didn't like attention so it must have been hell for her in that moment.
"Is it national stare at the fittest guy day?" Charlie joked, looking around the cafeteria at all of the gloomy glares.
"Trollop" someone shouted. What the fucking hell?
"Gay fucks," another student shouted but from the other side of the cafeteria. I watched as some sniggered at their words. Others looked down at the table in disgust.
"Benders"
"Okay, what the hell is going on?" Charlie shouted but no one answered back.
"Oh if it isn't the gays" Riley snarled and started to walk over to us like she'd only just saw us standing there.
"What are you talking about?" Gracie asked, glaring at Riley as best as she could without feeling intimidated.
"Oh you know, the norm," Layla giggled pathetically. I wanted to punch her so she would stop talking.
"Riley?" I snapped, "What the fuck is going on?"
"Layla, come on tell us," Gracie muttered.
"Fine, if you must know, you're acquaintances over there, were caught kissing," Riley said and pointed at Joey and Charlie. I winced at her disgust filled tone.
"They're called friends, maybe you should try it sometime," I said. Layla passed me an A4 piece of paper, it had a picture of Joey and Charlie kissing, by the looks of it, it was taken back gate of school. Why did they feel the need to print that out?
"Were you stalking us or something?" Charlie questioned, feeling uncomfortable, which was unusual for him, normally he was quite confident.
"Anyway, the problem with it is?" I shrugged and passed back the paper. Only then did I realise that there were lots of copies of the photo stuck all around the hall.
"Oh don't tell me you support that shit!" Riley shuddered which made me want to punch that smirk off of her face.
"She's probably gay and all," Layla muttered to Riley, then gave me a dirty glare.
"What's wrong with it?" I asked.
"Oh you're just as bad as them," Riley snorted, "I didn't realise you were like that," She added, "I thought you might have been cool, but now there's no chance you are joining our group,"
"Does it look like I'd fucking want to be friends with you?" I muttered, inching myself closer to Riley.
"It seems like our little joke at the party wasn't just a joke," Layla giggled to herself thinking she's hilarious.
"Riley, tell me honestly, what bothers you about it? The fact that they're both boys, or the fact that neither of them want to sleep with you?" I said, feeling proud.
"Oh you didn't," Riley snarled.
"Yeah that's right, Riley, you're a whore," I said, shrugging.
"Bitch!" She shouted, as she took two steps towards me.
"I may be a bitch, but atleast I'm not homophobic like you,"
"It's disgusting, not a normal lifestyle," She hissed. I winced at her words.
