I had always wondered what it would be like to have a brother, even an older brother. Now that I have one- who I now know for about twenty minutes or less, I feel free to say; it's not as I had expected.
Maybe other brothers are more chill and less involved in their sister's life. But this one makes me want to bang my head against the side of the air vent.
We were currently inside the air vent, following Thomas who claims where to go. Which he doesn't.
"Cheonsa can you go any slower, I think Ijust saw a snailpass us" Minho retorts.
I roll my eyes and let out a sigh.
"Could you possibly complain more" I shot back.
It was not my fault we were going so slow, it was Thomas. But who can blame him? He's the only one who has to navigate a way out for us.
"Guys, I get it. You're brother and sister, please fighteach other when we are save" Thomas mumbles.
I look over my shoulder at Minho- he's just rolling his eyes but keeps his mouth shut. At least that's a start.
"Yo guys, I know Ineed to shut up but you have to see this" Minho says.
I crawl backwards, bumping into my brother twice. Hearing him complain.
"Geez can you not shove your butt in my face Cheonsa".
But I pretend I didn't hear him. We are still stuck in a small air vent, crawling through it to find an exit- this is not the place to get frustrated with each other.
I finally backed up enough to see through the cracks. The first thing I noticed are a bunch of guards running around, looking worried.
"Ceylon what is it" Thomas asks since it's too far away for him to see.
I hear Minho behind me mumbling, "her name is Cheonsa notCeylon".
"It's guards running around Tommy, and for you" I say before looking over my shoulder at Minho, "for as long as Ican remember I've been called Ceylon, thatdon't change over night".
Minho shrugs which makes me roll my eyes at him again.
"Let's go Hongs" Thomas says catching our attention.
I say nothing anymore as I follow Thomas through the vents, hoping there's was an end to it very soon. Plus Minho kept sighing when I had to stop because of Thomas- which also gets on your nerves.
