One day. One day without any stupid surprises, without cranks or WCKD is that too much to ask for.
And now it's even because of Ceylon. The last person on this planet who would scream on the top of her lungs.
But that is what she did and now we have a big horde of cranks chasing after us in the god danm night. Aside from the moon we don't have much light. Flashlights would just tell the monsters where we are.
I look behind me only to panic when I see everyone exept Emme, she always with Ceylon.
"My wrist hurts" I suddenly hear besides Thomas and I feel a small amount of relief. But that only last a moment before I get pushed down to the groud.
feel hands and teeth scratching at my skin. I let out a scream when one of them digs to hard into the skin of my arm. I thrash around trying desperately to reach a weapon I have on me.
A gun goes of right beside my ear, pain immediately hits me as I grab my head in pain, a high tone ringing in my ear. I feel.someone dragging me from under the dead cranks and help me get up but my orientation is completely off my vision blur and my head ringing.
A hand grabs me and pulls me with him, well I think its a him. The person fires a few more shots which don't help me at all, I rather curl up somewhere silent.
"What's wrong with her" I hear a voice in the distance say, no wait they are actually close by I see more blurry figures now. I desperately try to get my eyes to focus but I can't I have to much else to focus on, like the horrible high tone in my head and keeping my balance while running.
"I think I fired the gun to close to her ear" the voice who pulls me along explains. No more replies after that, Only the occasional gun shot, why do they have to be so loud. Then again even the sound of our footsteps and of course those horrible screams of the cranks.
"In here" some yells and before I process the loud noise I het pulled into a different direction.
My vision begins to get a bit more shape, it's still foggy but I can see that it's Thomas who has been pulling me along with Emme running in front of him, thank god she's safe! Wait, does that mean he saved me? We probably fell together when the cranks jumped on me, we did ran close to one another.
We run into a large building one of those skyscraper things, or at least that is what I can make of it.
In the front of the group is Ceylon followed by Frypan and Aris. I guess Newt had ket her go it wouldn't surprise me if she led us here in the first place.
