I wonder if I should call them "sensei" when they haven't actually taught me anything?

"Alright, Miyu. We're not sure how much you know, but the Hokage assured us that you would be fine in the test. So please make three clones of yourself." Iruka-sensei explained.

I nodded my head, happy that I had the foresight to practice all last night. I made the hand signs quickly and made three clones. They weren't perfect, but they were passable. Each one had a tiny mistake that someone who didn't know me well wouldn't notice. Iruka-sensei nodded to me.

"Alright Miyu, you pass. Please take one of these headbands. You can wear it wherever you like as long as it's visible. This headband will forever mark you as a ninja from the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Konoha." I gave a small smile appreciating the explanation. I grabbed the first headband I saw and walked out of the school slowly.

I can wear it anywhere I want... but it has to be visible. So where would be a good place? It is a headband... maybe on my head? But then my hair might cover it up and make it less visible.

After much deliberation I decided to put the headband around my bicep over my shirt. I decided it was the best place for it, not to mention with the metal plate it would make good armor since it might be difficult to protect my left side seeing as I'm right handed. For the first time noticing my surroundings, I watched many parents congratulate their children for passing the ninja exam. Sasuke was nowhere in sight, most likely already on his way back to the compound. The blonde, Naruto, was sitting on a nearby swing in the shade. I made my way over to him.

"Hey, Naruto, right?" I began to which he ignored. I analyzed his figure and noticed the absence of a headband. "Would you want to train with me sometime?" he scoffed at me.

"I didn't pass the exam, why would you want to train with me?" he snapped out. I sat down next to him on the ground.

"You know, after five years in a wolf pack, I learned a lot of things. One of them being how to distinguish the smell of a dangerous opponent from someone I don't have to worry about."

"What's your point?" he sighed out, most likely noticing that I wasn't leaving anytime soon.

"My point is that I can smell you. You're exceptionally strong and that test only tested a single jutu. They didn't ask you about taijutsu or genjutsu or even a mental test, which, as a ninja, your thought process is, and always will be, your most valuable weapon. So don't worry about the stupid standards around here, trust me when I say, from experience, that they don't mean a thing." Naruto picked his head up from his slouch, but other than that my words had no effect on him. I sighed and stood.

"Believe me, Naruto, the worst thing you can do is let something so small stop you." With that I left, off to the market again.

At the market I bought more food and a bunch of ice to take back to my house in the Uchiha compound. I couldn't shake the nagging sensation in the back of my mind that something was wrong. I pursed my lips, pausing in the middle of the walkway to look up at the clear blue sky, a sense of foreboding washing over me. I closed my eyes and took a whiff of the air around me.

Thanks to my years with my pack my senses, especially my sense of smell, was much more developed than the average person's. I found I could smell certain traits about people and other animals and sometimes even feelings. It's true what they say... wolves really can smell fear.

Smells like... commotion.

I opened my eyes and watched the Hokage tower where there seemed to be a bunch of people gathered inside. I cocked my head to the side in confusion.
