"Hey, Miyu, can turtle's become sensei?" Naruto asked me under his breath as the turtle berated Lee who was sobbing on his knees before the turtle. I paused to think about it.
"Well, I don't see why not." I nodded and watched turtle-sensei with Lee.
"Sasuke!" Sakura yelled and sprinted to his side. Sasuke lay in a pitiful defeated heap on the ground and watched Lee converse with turtle-sensei with an expression somewhere between shame, weird-ed out, and incredulity.
"Are you prepared to pay?" the turtle thundered. Lee bowed his head in shame.
"Yes."
"Then here comes Gai-sensei!" turtle-sensei announced and in a second puff of smoke, a large clone of Lee appeared on his back.
"You fool!" the large version of Lee yelled and punched Lee in the face.
"What the hell is happening right now?" I asked no one in particular. Not that anyone would've answered anyways since Sakura was still fretting over Sasuke, Sasuke was still flabbergasted from his loss, and Naruto was off poking turtle-sensei.
"Man, that guy's got even bushier eyebrows!" Naruto yelled, a new bruise adorning his cheek from where turtle-sensei swatted at Naruto for poking him.
"Super weird..." Sakura muttered.
"Super gross." Sasuke added as he stood. Sakura and Sasuke now joined our ranks so we formed a complete team.
"Where did he even come from?" I asked.
"Stop insulting Gai-sensei!" Lee yelled.
"How are we supposed to react when all of these freaks keep popping up out of nowhere?" Naruto shouted back.
Thanks for defending us, Naruto.
"Why you...!" Lee shouted preparing to fight Naruto, again.
"Lee!" the clone I presumed to be Gai-sensei scolded.
"Yes, Gai-sensei. I accept my punishment." Lee stated with his head held high.
Didn't he already accept his punishment? When his sensei punched him?
"You fool!" Gai-sensei yelled, again, and punched him, again. "Lee, you... you are..." Gai-sensei began to tear up.
"Gai-sensei!" Lee yelled, tearing up as well.
Then the two embraced each other, both with tears streaming down their faces. They were muttering apologies to each other as they did so.
"Hey, why doesn't Kakashi-sensei ever hug us?" I asked my team who all turned to me as if I was crazy.
"Hey... yeah you're right." Naruto spoke thoughtfully.
"Why would you want him to hug you?" Sakura snapped.
"Just saying, they seem to have a pretty strong relationship. Kakashi-sensei definitely doesn't treat us like that." I pursed my lips in thought.
"Just shut up, Miyu." Sasuke groaned out. "I can't believe I lost to him."
"That's what youth is all about!" Gai-sensei yelled when he finally broke away from Lee.
"Sensei!" Lee chirped, adding nothing to the conversation.
"That's some good stuff..." Naruto muttered and I nodded in agreement.
"We should give Kakashi-sensei a hug next time we see him." I added with a smile and Naruto nodded to me with glee.
"No way! Too weird! That's just way too weird!" Sakura crossed her arms in front of her to make an 'x'.
