The cabin only had two rooms. Any normal girl would freak out about having to sleep in the same bed as a man, most likely Sasuke since sleeping with a grown man is weird, but luckily I didn't sleep. So Sasuke and Kakashi-sensei took the beds while I took to the roof.

I suspected that Kakashi-sensei was hoping I would find sleep at some point during our month-long training session but I was doubtful. By the end of our time Kakashi-sensei will give up on my sleeping habits just as I've done so long ago.

Night dragged on as always, but eventually morning came as it always does.

"Ok, Miyu. I want you to practice your meditation today. I want you to have a better grasp on what exactly you're doing. We know you manipulate nature chakra but until you know exactly how you're doing that you can't use it to regenerate your vision after using your Mangekyou Sharingan. While you do so, Sasuke," Kakashi-sensei directed his gaze towards the boy, "you'll be learning a new jutsu today."

Sasuke's eyes lit up in excitement like a small boy receiving a gift, but instead of showing his excitement he just smirked silently. The three of us headed to the open field. I instantly started my way towards the forest, intending to get lost before starting my training. It only made sense that if I used nature chakra I should be as surrounded by nature as possible.

"Hold on, Miyu." Kakashi-sensei halted me and I turned to him curiously. "The whole reason you're here is to have supervised training. I don't want you wandering off. Your Mangekyou is unpredictable and no one really knows how you manipulate the chakra around you, not even you yourself know what you're doing. So I don't want you out of my sight."

"Sure..." I pouted complacently. I sat a few feet away from Sasuke and Kakashi-sensei at the foot of a tree while they got to work. I sighed to myself and took a deep breath, preparing to get to work myself.

I traveled deep into my mental state. I could feel the overwhelming energy around me. My spine stiffened, the weight of the nature chakra falling on my mind. I bit my lip and struggled to control the energy.

Sasuke grunted after a failed attempt at his new jutsu and broke my concentration. I opened my eyes and sent a brief, unnoticed, glare towards the boy. Then I tried again.

Same as before the energy overwhelmed me. I forced my will upon it and forced the energy to be controlled. An electric crackle followed by another one of Sasuke's frustrated grunts broke into my concentration again and I opened my eyes to glare at him.

What met my vision surprised me. My eyes widened and my mouth popped open with a silent gasp. For some reason... I could see the chakra around me. Flowing through the trees, traveling into the leaves, circulating in the air and flowing around Sasuke as he focused his own bodily chakra to obey his jutsu.

"Miyu?" Kakashi-sensei suddenly called, causing Sasuke to stop focusing his chakra and turn to me as well.

"I thought she wasn't supposed to activate her Mangekyou Sharingan today." Sasuke spoke. I blinked in surprise. My hand traveled to my face as if I could feel my changed eyes.

"I didn't do that..." I muttered. Kakashi-sensei walked over to me, telling Sasuke to take a break absently. Sasuke instead chose to follow Kakashi-sensei towards where I was sitting. I watched them approach me in awe. I knew I wasn't really seeing them, but rather their personal chakra. The flow was amazing to see. I could tell them apart easily.

Kakashi-sensei's chakra was massive and clear making it feel clean and approachable. It flowed heavily towards his singular covered eye and gently towards the rest of his body. It was easy to see how uneven he was due to the power dwelling in his Sharingan eye.

Sasuke's chakra was different. It flowed heavily to both of his eyes despite his Sharingan being deactivated. It also flowed in short, choppy bursts. As if something was blocking it. It was a little foggier than Kakashi-sensei's too.

"Miyu?" Kakashi-sensei asked.

"It's like she's looking straight through us..." Sasuke murmured.

"She's not seeing us, she's seeing our chakra presence." Kakashi-sensei answered for him. "You were only meditating, right?"

"Yeah, I was just trying to figure out how I control nature chakra... like you told me to." I told him with a frown. It seemed as though nature chakra had a mind of it own... and I don't think it enjoyed being forcefully controlled.

My eyes trailed to the chakra signature of a bug flying by. Its chakra was different from Kakashi-sensei's and Sasuke's. It was more pure and drew energy from the surroundings, almost as if the chakra in this bug and the chakra in nature were connected.

"Try deactivating your Sharingan." My sensei instructed and I did as he said. As much as I tried, my Sharingan wouldn't fade. My brow furrowed in confusion.

"Maybe I'll try something else..." I muttered and closed my eyes again. If I thought I could see chakra well before... man was I in for a rude awakening when I closed my eyes.

My mind opened to all the chakra around me and I felt blinded by the new light in which I could see things. I grit my teeth and tried to concentrate on the influx of energy still filling me from nature. Like a door being slammed shut I cut off the energy influx and opened my eyes again.

My vision was back to normal.

"Ok that was weird..." I said with a frown. Despite no longer being overwhelmed with energy, I still had too much locked inside me. I felt normal, just overly energized. Like I had slept for a week and now needed to run a few miles to feel normal.

"I think your Sharingan is directly connected to nature chakra. Take a break, Miyu. Sasuke let's get back to training." Kakashi-sensei instructed. Like puppies, Sasuke and I followed his every command.

Next chapter is a BIG one for Miyu-Sasuke relationship progression. And when I say 'BIG' I'm not exaggerating! Next chapter is the romantic turning point in the whole book! 

Anyways, quick author note. Recently I've gotten a few questions regarding some changes I've made in the Naruto plot-line such as decisions I've made regarding the Uchiha massacre and other plot changes. I want to open up the board to other questions as well. If I get enough questions I'll consider dedicating a chapter (not really a chapter, but more like an update, don't worry though I'll still post the regular chapter update with it) to answering questions about plot and themes I've attempted to convey. 

Questions can be regarding anything. Of course, I don't plan on giving any spoilers but hopefully I can clarify any confusion. Questions can also be about sequels and spin-offs I've been considering for a while. If you don't have any questions at all and just feel like posting some feedback then feel free to do that as well!
