I opened my eyes, having not slept a wink, to my door being slid open. I turned my head to see Sasuke standing in the doorway.

"We have an hour to get to the training grounds on time." He informed me stoically before shutting the door once again.

He must've come in to wake me.

I sighed and rubbed my eyes. Was that two or three nights in a row now that I haven't gotten any sleep? I honestly can't remember. Too groggy to pay much attention, I dragged my half dead self to the dresser and threw on the first clothes I touched before sluggishly finding my way to the bathroom.

While brushing my pointed teeth I gave myself a once over. My outfit was one of the oddest ones I could've chosen. I wore an incredibly short off the shoulder kimono dress in an army green color with an incredibly bright orange obi and regular black shorts made from a fishnet-material underneath. Not only was my outfit incredibly girly, but it also didn't match at all. I rubbed my eyes once more, wondering if I was seeing the right thing.

"Miyu, hurry up." Sasuke spoke from outside my door. He didn't yell which I found pleasant, as with my enhanced senses he didn't have to. I could probably hear anything he said from anywhere in the house if I concentrated. In a rush, I threw my long white hair into a high ponytail and ran out the door behind Sasuke.

"What are you wearing?" he asked me once we were on our way to the grounds. I shot him a glare.

"Shut up." He raised an eyebrow at my irritable response.

"Guess you're not a morning person." He scoffed, a small smirk betraying his amusement, "just don't get in my way." I rolled my eyes and blew a stray strand of fringe out of my face.

"I beat you last time, if you remember." I snapped back and instantly felt guilty for it.

My mind flashed back to the other night and my guilt tripled. I knew that he heard my apology; he just chose not to acknowledge it and I wondered if it would be best if I did the same. My usual move was to disregard situations that involved feelings, but for some reason when Sasuke was concerned I was less willing to ignore things. I cleared my throat awkwardly.

"Uhm, Sasuke... about the other night..." he cut me off with a roll of his eyes.

"I don't care what you do in your spare time." He deadpanned.

"Oh." We walked for a few moments in silence.

"They say you pick up the traits of those you spend your time with. If you keep hanging around losers then you'll become one too." He spoke his warning in an informational tone. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"Who's 'they'?"

"Just... people. The only reason I made dinner was because you suck at cooking. Who makes rice balls without filling? It's literally just a ball of rice. It's the worst meal ever." He scoffed. I froze in my tracks with wide eyes filled with sorrow.

My mother would be so disappointed.

Sasuke paused in his stride, noticing that I wasn't beside him anymore. He made an annoyed face at me and shoved his hands in his pockets.

"Don't go getting all depressed." He scoffed and turned away, "I'll show you how sometime." He muttered almost inaudibly. My face lit up and I bounced happily to his side. We resumed our walk.

"Really? You'll teach me how to cook?" I asked, eyes sparkling in delight. Sasuke turned away from me, a small pink dusting his cheeks.

"Don't get excited. It's only because..." I cut him off with a wave of my hand.
