The following morning I woke up and decided to try to be as human as possible today. We were supposed to be meeting our jonin instructors today and I wanted to make a very human first impression.
The entire class thinks I'm the weird dog-girl; the last thing I want is for my instructor to think I'm not capable of their teachings.
I showered and brushed my jagged teeth before realizing I didn't have any of the new clothes I bought.
Should I change back into my old clothes? No, a regular person wouldn't do that. I'll go get them.
I walked out of my room in my towel, my white hair still damp. I padded down the hallway into the living area where Sasuke was getting breakfast for himself. He froze upon seeing me.
"Morning, Sasuke." I gave a small wave in passing before walking out the door.
"What are you doing?" Sasuke yelled after me. I turned to see him standing in the doorway, his face pink.
"I left my clean clothes in the other building. I'm going to go grab them." Sasuke's eyebrow twitched giving away his anger.
"You can't walk around naked, idiot." He growled out, "go inside, I'll go get them."
He must've noticed my lack of fur covering my body; my pack did too. I always assumed normal people wore clothes instead of fur. Sure I'll be cold for a little, but I'm about to get them.
"I know I'm lacking in fur, but it's not that far of a walk." I cocked my head to the side as he began to step further out of his home towards me. He gave me a weird look when I mentioned fur.
Wait to go, Miyu. You were doing so well at being normal and then you had to go and mention fur. Does Sasuke have fur? No, so why would you talk about it?
"Shut up and go inside, idiot." He sighed out before passing me. I frowned but did as he said. Unsure of what to do while I waited for him, I decided to make breakfast and pack a lunch for later.
What do normal people eat? Rice?
I began cooking the rice as the directions on the pot stated and made little balls out of it. I pursed my lips as I packed the balls of rice into containers.
This seems like an awful lunch. There's no meat in it at all, its just rice. How do normal people eat this stuff?
I opened the fridge in search for something to add to make the horrible lunch better. Not seeing anything good on the top shelf I bent down to search in the bottom drawers of the fridge but was startled by the sound of someone clearing their throat behind me. I straightened and turned to see Sasuke with a bag full of things I had bought the previous day, his face as bright as a tomato.
"Go change." He handed me the bag while looking the other way.
"You look uncomfortable." I commented hoping he would give me an explanation. We stood in silence for a few minutes until he realized I wouldn't leave.
"Don't bend down like that in a towel." His voice sounded harsh, but his face heated up even more. Frowning, I looked down to see the towel was quite short. No doubt bending over had given Sasuke a very good view of my behind.
Is he uncomfortable seeing other people naked? I always thought I was the weird one in my pack for always wearing clothes. It's not like anyone other than humans even wear clothes.
Suddenly realization hit me. I smacked my forehead for my stupidity drawing Sasuke's attention towards me.
"I'm in idiot. Normal people are bothered by the lack of clothing, aren't they?" Sasuke gave me a weird look, "yeah I get it, weird dog-girl. Cut me some slack, I lived with wolves in the wild for five years, it'll take me some time to figure out how normal people live." I snapped at him growing tired of everyone looking at me like I have three heads. Sasuke sighed.
