This meeting was an informal affair, and they provided free water and chocolate! Seriously though, we got the opportunity to give our opinions about the quality of the University Employability Services.
There was only one other First Year Course Representative there, who is also from Jersey. We were able to go the meeting because we did our training last week, but others who turned up to the meeting were turned away to go to this week's training session. More chocolate for me!
A major point of discussion that came up was why the University can justify spending £2 Million on a new logo. I personally believe they can't, but the best thing about it is that if you turn it around it looks like a duck. It's funny, but it's a very expensive joke.
I feel privileged to have been part of, and contributed to, this meeting, and look forward to many more.
