To make pasta was another challenging but equally rewarding challenge as part of 'Meals on Wheels'. Unusually and thankfully, I did not have to go near the hob in the process of making my pasta because Joel had bought this new gadget that he let me try, which is basically a plastic box in which you can pour water and then pasta, and then proceed to put it in the microwave, and it recreates the process of the water boiling the pasta on the hob, while the process is all the more safe, for its dealings with the microwave instead of the hob.
I went through the process of measuring the pasta out to try and make from sure that I did not make too much, I then poured water in the tub followed by the pasta. I then took it over to the microwave and set the timer. I had to check it every few minutes just to make sure that the tub didn't overboil, but I did fine.
Overall, I succeeded with the use of a very unique gadget which I am planning to get for myself at some point. Anything to enhance my independence beyond the point that it is already at is worth it to me. As ever, The food I made was very tasty, along with the garlic bread I had with it, and I thank my friends for teaching me the skills to make my meals, in the first place.
