  Jason
How the heck did he do that? He managed to jump off a two story building without getting a single scratch.

"Jason, do you think he's okay? He never explodes like that in class. He usually glares at people and never talks unless he wants too," Brenda asked me.

I shrugged, "he just needed to blow off a little bit of steam. I'm sure he's fine."

She nodded, "maybe he was but why would he be alone with her if he doesn't like her?" I stayed silent. He has made it obvious that he doesn't like her so why would he be alone with her? She sighed, "I wonder if he would tell us what's going on."

I shook my head no, "he won't tell me anything so it has to be you."

She turned to me, "the only reason why he won't tell you things is because you always try to get on his nerves."

I smirked, taking that as a compliment. "It's not my fault that he gets angry so easily," I told her.

She rolled her eyes at me, "you need to stop teasing him or he's going to beat you one day."

I laughed, "whatever. I'll like to see him try!"

She just stared at me before walking away. "Come on Brenda, you know I wouldn't fight him. I wouldn't stand a chance." I called out to her. She ignored me and continued walking. I gave up trying to get her to talk and walked to my next class.

"Your Jason, right?" a voice asked behind me. I looked back and saw Ann-Marie walking behind me with such a sweet face.

I nodded and stopped in place, "yeah, why? Do you need something?"

She nodded, "are you friends with Taylor?"

I shook my head no, "he hates me. You should probably find Brenda; she's the only girl that he actually counts as a friend. She's his only friend actually..."

Ann-Marie smiled, "oh really? How interesting."

I shrugged, "other people are afraid to go near him. The only emotion he ever actually shows is anger which somehow won him the heart of every girl in school."

She grabbed my arm and started walking, "lets find this girl. Brenda. I want to meet her."

I nodded, "alright. She would like to meet you too."

We walked in the direction Brenda walked in until we found her standing around, staring off into space. "There she is," I told Ann-Marie. "Hey Brenda!" She turned around at the sound of her name and walked over. "Ann-Marie, this is my friend Brenda. Brenda, you know Ann-Marie from... earlier, right?" I asked her.

She nodded, "hi."

Ann-maire began circling her, practically staring her up and down. "You look nice. I love your outfit. I can see why boys must like you," Ann-Marie told her, making her uncomfortable.

She shook her head and wrapped her arms around her chest, "no guy is interested in me. I don't really talk to anybody. Besides, the only guys I talk to are Taylor and Jason."

That got Ann-Marie to smile. "You really are an interesting girl. I hope we can be friends." Ann-Marie said in an creepy tone.

I noticed Brenda back away a few steps, "yeah well, I have to go back to class." She ran away from us, towards her next class.

I checked my watch, " she's right. We're already late for class."

She shrugged, "what a pity." I showed her the way back to her next class before heading to mine.

After hours of school, it was finally time to go home. I waited at the front of the school for Brenda to come out. Ann-Marie came out first and came over to me, "is your friend out of class?"

I shrugged, having no idea if she was still in class or not. "She probably already left home. She never takes this long coming out of class," I told her.

She smiled, "great well, why don't we go for a walk?"

Before I can answer her, she grabbed my hand and pulled me behind her towards the forbidden woods that surround our town. "Jason! Where are you going!" Brenda called out from the front doors of the school. I looked back at her and pulled my hand away from Ann-Marie.

"Were you trying to get me to go into the forbidden woods? That's suicide to just walk in there," I told Ann-Marie.

She frowned, "it's just that I saw him go in here and I was afraid to go in alone to look for him." Is she talking about Taylor? Is he really that stupid to go in there?

"Don't ever go in there. Anybody who has walked in there has never came back alive," I told her again before turning around in Brenda's direction. She nodded sadly before turning around and running away from me. I watched her run before walking over to Brenda. Her face told me that she was suspious of something.

"Where was she taking you?" she asked me.

"She said she wanted me to go with her to look for Taylor in the forbidden woods. She saw him go inside," I told her.

Her expression changed to one of worry. "He wouldn't go in there. It's too dangerous, even for him!" She pulled out her cell phone and began to dial his number. "Relax, I'm sure he's alright. He wouldn't do something so reckless," I said, trying to calm her down.

The next thing we knew, we heard his ringtone coming from somewhere nearby. Taylor stepped out from the woods and walked over. "You sure about that?" he asked me. Brenda hung up her phone and placed it back in her pocket before punching his arm. "Ow! That hurts," he said as he rubbed his arm.

I smirked, enjoying this moment.

"What the heck were you doing in there! You know it's dangerous so why would you go in-,"

Taylor cut her off. "I'm fine. Nothing happens to me when I go as long as I stay on the path," he said as he watched her.

She stared at him with wide eyes, "you shouldn't be going in there at all. You might get hurt one day." He sighed, realizing she wasn't going to listen.

"Ann-Marie asked about you," I told him. He turned to me, "what did you tell her?" I shook my head, "nothing much actually. She tried dragging me into the woods to help her look for you."

He looked back at the woods before turning back to us, "look you guys, something's weird about that girl. Whatever you do, stay away from her. I mean it, stay away from her." We agreed to his request. I hate to side with him, but he does have a point.
