Chapter Eight

It had been a week since Ethan and I had gone to the beach. We hang out everyday after school now, we've gotten a lot closer. Ethan and I always do our homework together but today I had my... our appointment. At 4:15 I had to go to the doctors and get a ultrasound, Ethan came over for a hour after school but I told him I was hanging out with Nicole at 4:00 so I had to go. I was on my way to the doctors when I got a text from Ethan

Babe💞: I thought you were going to Nicole's
Me: I am
Babe💞: I just talked to Nicole and she doesn't know that you're coming over
Me: hey babe I'm sorry but I really have to go can we meet up later? 😘

I had gotten to the doctors and I needed to fill out paperwork so I told Ethan we could meet up later. He didn't respond but I couldn't deal with him right now I needed to focus on this appointment. It took fifteen minutes to fill out the pages of questions but I finally finished and I gave it to the front desk lady. She entered it into her computer and printed it off and put the pages into a blue file folder. Around ten minutes after I was done filling out the paper work the doctor call my name. I got up and walked towards him, he lead me into a room with baby posters all over the walls. I wish Ethan was with me. The doctor left and two minutes later another lady walked in she took my blood pressure and all that stuff and then asked me to lift up my shirt. She told me the jell would be cold at first, and it was. I flinched a little when it hit my stomach but it was fine shortly after. She then turned on a small monitor and told me to look at the small black dot on the screen. It was my baby, well our baby. I asked how long until I would be able to find the gender she told me at around five months. She then started telling me more information on how to book more appointments and stuff like that. Just as I was about to leave she told me I was three weeks along. I walked to the front desk and booked an appointment for the end of June, hopefully Ethan would be able to come with me. Once I got into my car I tried to phone Ethan but he didn't pick up. I decided to drive by his house on my was home.

I pulled into the Dolan's driveway. I got out of my car and walked to the front door. I knocked and his sister Camron answered.

"Hi" she said in a cheerful voice
"Hi, I was wondering if Ethan was here"
"Yah he is in his room"

She opened the door and I walked to Ethan's room.
