Chapter Sixty-Six

*3 weeks after honeymoon*

The twins are just over a year and a half now. Ethan and I got back from our honeymoon about three weeks ago. The past few days haven't  been the best. I've been thrown up almost everyday this week. "Babe I think you should go to the doctor. What if you got sick while we were in the Bahamas" Ethan said while holding my hair and rubbing my back. It was so painful to sit there every morning and throw up. I felt terrible because Ethan would look after the boys in the morning while I got more sleep. I've been exhausted, my body is in so much pain, and I can't stop throwing up. I had a sudden realization as I was laying in bed. I could hear Ethan playing with the boys in there room. I got out of bed and threw my hair in a ponytail and grabbed a sweatshirt. I was already wearing sweatpants so I slid on my vans and put a shirt over my sports bra. I peaked my head into the boys room. "Heh E I'll be back I have to run to the store" I said and quickly gave all my boys a quick peck before heading out. Okay was all the he could get out because I didn't give him time to respond. I got a text from him right away.

Baby💗💙😘:Amy... please answer

I didn't respond. I rushed into the store and headed for the pharmacy. I went down the isle that had pregnancy test and condoms. I grabbed a pack of pregnancy test that had two test inside. I can't be pregnant again. I paid for the test and drove home I put the test in my purse so ethan wouldn't see that I bought them. I walked into the house and rushed into mine and Ethan's bathroom. The boys were down for the afternoon nap. Ethan was sitting in the living room but followed me as I walked into the bathroom. I shut the door and locked it. I opened the test and took them both. I kept telling myself over and over not to cry. "Babe can you please open the door" Ethan said on the other side. "E I will just give me like five minutes" I said. I heard an okay from the other side. The test were done and they both came out positive. My eyes filled with tears. I didn't know how to feel. I didn't know if Ethan was going to happy or how he would react. I stared at the test for a good two minutes. "E. Are you still there" I asked. "Yah Baby girl" he said I could hear him stand up. I slowly opened the door with both test behind my back. "Baby is everything okay" he said and pulled me in for a hug. "I don't know" I said. "Why what's going on" he asked. I teared up. "Okay just listen don't get mad" I said and pulled the test out from behind me. "E I'm pregnant" I said giving him a hopeful smile. "Baby are you serious" he asked a smile growing on his face. "Yah" I said and let my smile grow. He pulled me in for a hug and got on his knees and kissed my stomach. After he had his moment with my stomach he stood up and pulled me in for a passionate kiss. "I love you so much" he said. "I love you more" I said. "I think you're lying because that's not possible" he said with a laugh. After we watched a movie while the boys slept. The movie was almost done when I heard cries come from their room. Ethan and I both stood up to get them. We walked in to see both of them standing in their cribs smiling. Their smiles made me smile. We took them out and let them run to the living room. They started playing with their toys. Ethan was playing with them while I made dinner. While the food was in the oven I cleaned up the kitchen. After I cleaned up I phoned the pregnancy doctors office to book an appointment.

*Conversation over the phone*
(A is for Amy and R is for Receptionist)

R-Hello Children's care clinic. How can I help you this evening?
A-Hi. I actually just took two pregnancy test earlier today and the results were both positive. I was wondering if I could book and appointment to confirm the pregnancy. As well and a possible ultrasound.
R- Okay for sure so can I start with a few questions.
A- Sure.
R- Can I get your full name.
A- Amy Dolan. The last time I was in it was Amy Harper.
R- Okay so what I'll do is go into your folder and just change your last name.
A- Sounds good.
R- Okay so what day works best for you.
A- Do you have anything for Thursday.
R- Yes we have Thursday at 11:45 or 3:00
A- I think 11:45 would work best.
R- Okay so we will see you on Thursday at 11:45
A- Okay Thank You.

The appointment was booked for two days. "E we have a ultrasound appointment on Thursday at 11:45 can you put it in your calendar" I said. "Yah babe" he said and quickly put it in then continued to play with the boys. After dinner the boys played a bit more while Ethan and I cleaned up. At 7:00 we got them in the bath. Ethan bathed them while I looked up cute ways to tell everyone about the pregnancy. I could hear the boys in the bathroom splashing and giggling. I found the perfect way to tell everyone. We would put both boys in shirts that say 'Big Brother' and then go out with family and see who notices. When the boys were done their bath I help Ethan dry them off and get them in their pyjamas. They were both so calm from their bath that the both just needed to be walked around and rocked for a few minutes. Then they were both out. We laid them in their cribs and shut the door but left a little crack open. I told Ethan about the t-shirts for the boys and he loved it. After we went to the ultrasound appointment we would go and buy the shirts. Ethan and I cuddled on the couch and watched a tv show. Halfway through I got a craving. "E" I said. "Mmh" he said tiredly. "Cam you go get me ice-cream...please" I said and kissed him. "Yah" he said. "Wait..." I said. "Yah" he said stopping in the doorway. "Can you get me a hot fudge sundae from McDonald's" I asked. "Yup" he said a gave me a kiss and left. After he left I turned off the tv and got into my pyjamas. I sat in our bed with tons of blankets and my laptop. When Ethan came home he came into our room and laughed when he saw me. I was literally wrapped in five blankets. He handed me my ice-cream and kissed me one the cheek. "Thanks baby" I said and pulling him in for a hug still sitting on the bed. When he hugged me I leaned back and he climbed on top of me. He laid his head on my boobs and wrapped his arm loosely around me. "I love you E" but I got no response because he was passed out.
