Chapter Forty-Eight

December 17th

Ethan and I decided that we wanted to celebrate his and Grayson's birthday before we started decorating for Christmas. Since it was after their birthday we planned to decorate today. We both woke up around 11:00 and stated getting ready. I had a shower then let my hair air dry while I got ready. I put on black tights a white t-shirt, brown booties, a grey cardigan, and a grey toque with a white Pom Pom on top. I blow dried my hair and curled it before I put the toque on then did my makeup. I put a little more on today because we were probably going to table pictures at the tree farm. I put on concealer, foundation, contour, highlight, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and a nude lip stick. Ethan wore light washed ripped jeans with a beige sweatshirt and a green army jacket with black slip on vans. "Owww my girl is looking like a snack" she said once he say my finished look. I laughed as I brought him in for a kiss. "Little do you know you're the really snack" I said in a whisper. "Umm are we going to have a quick thing" he asked "cause I am 100% down" he finished. I rolled my eyes and playfully hit his arm while walking out of the room. "That's cool maybe later" he said jokingly. We both went to the kitchen and began t9 make pancakes. We stated the vlog together in the kitchen. "Good morning! Today we are going to get a Christmas tree and other Christmas stuff because this is our first official Christmas together so we need to get all the ornaments and stuff like that" Ethan said as I made the batter. "Anyways that's happening later but right now we are making..." he said but I cut him off. "PANCAKES" I said with lots of enthusiasm. We continued to make the pancakes once we were done we ate and got ready to go. I grabbed my purse and Ethan grabbed the keys and his wallet along with the camera. "Babe can you drive" I asked really not wanting to drive today. "Yah sure. Are you feeling okay" he asked knowing that I love driving. "Ehh I'm ok" I said getting into the passenger seat. We went to target first to get ornaments for the tree. We walked in and I got a cart to push because I was so far along in my pregnancy I kinda needed that support. We went to the Christmas isles. "What colour scheme should we got for" I asked. "Umh" he said confused. "I was think different shades of blue and silver" I said. He nodded his head in agreement. We got different sizes and shades of blue ornaments, a sliver tree skirt, a tree stand, and a start for the top. I also had to get some more of my pregnancy vitamins so we quickly got those and then went to pick out our tree. We went to a tree farm and hour or two always from our apartment because Ethan insisted on going to this specific one. I just agreed seeing as how he was so excited just thinking about getting the tree. When we got there the first thing we did was take pictures for our Instagrams. Then we walked around looking at the trees. We both stopped and looked at this one tree. "Babe I like this one" I said walking towards it. "I was just looking at that's one" he said smiling. We cut it down and by we I mean Ethan, I just watched him. Then we paid for it and put it in the truck. We drove home and it felt like it took forever so I rested my head on the window and fell asleep. When we got home Ethan woke me up. "Babe were home" he said kissing my hand that was still intertwined with his. I woke up slowly and we brought up all the Christmas stuff. I got gneiss new speaker we ordered and we played Christmas music while decorating the tree. "I love you" he said wrapping his arms around my waist as I tried to put ornaments on the tree. I turned around and kissed his lips "I love you too" I said and turned back around and continuing to decorate. We finished the tree and the rest of the apartment and decided to order food and watch a Christmas movie. I grabbed a few blankets and we cuddled on the couch while we ate our food. Today was amazing I wish I wasn't feeling sick it would have made it an even better day. I just couldn't wait to see the boys in the next appointment that was coming up. Almost eight months time flys. But I'm so excited to get them out. Ethan and I talked about the boys a lot we were trying to come up with names for them all night. We moved into our bed at around 10:30 but we were both on social media posting pictures from today. At 1:20 ish I turned my phone off and put Ethan's arm around my waists it was hard for me to fall asleep with out his hand over my bump. He turned of his phone and cuddled me. "I love you" I said and closed my eyes. "Love you too" he said and kiss the back of my neck a few times before rubbing my bump. I felt the babies move around a bit they were totally going to be daddy's boys.
