Chapter Twenty-Three

"Amy...Amy Harper" the doctors called
Ethan and I got up and followed her to the room. I lifted my shirt and grabbed Ethan's hand. He kissed my hand before the screen came on. "Okay so here is baby A" the doctor said pointing to the screen "and here is baby B" she finished. We asked some questions and finished up she told us that next appointment we should be able to tell the baby's genders if we would like to know. Ethan and I went to the front and booked our next appointment. "Hi was was wondering if I could book my next appointment" I ask
"name" she said rudely. "Amy Harper" Ethan answer for me knowing I was about to snap. "Okay at the end of September we have the 23rd or the 27th"
"Can we do the 23rd please" I said giving a fake smile.
"Okay so on the 23rd we have 1:20 or 2:20" she said
"2:20 please" I responded
"Okay so on the 23rd of September at 2:20
"Okay thanks" I said giving yet another fake smile and rolled my eyes once I turned around and walked away. We drove back to our apartment. Grayson was coming over soon to film a video with Ethan. I felt kinda bad, since I announced my pregnancy Ethan and Grayson haven't been hanging out as much. I could tell Ethan was happy to be hanging out with Gray. I texted Nicole to see if she wanted to hang out since Ethan would be with Grayson.

Me:hey Nicole I was wondering if u were free today and wanted to hang out
Nicole😇: yah sure I'm off work in 15 minuets
Me: okay do you want to meet in a hour. We could get our nails done
Nicole😇: sounds good see you soon 😘
Me:see you soon ❤️

I got ready to meet Nicole. I put on a a yellow flowy romper with brown sandals.

"Where are you going" Ethan asked
"Nicole and I are going to get our nails done. when is Gray coming back over" I asked
"He is going to be here in 20 minuets"
"Okay" I said giving him a kiss and picking up my purse. "Bye" I said walking out the door "Bye beautiful" Ethan said hitting my butt. I gave him one last kiss and drove to meet Nicole. When I got to the salon I parked next to Nicole's car she must already be inside. I walked in to see Nicole sitting on a chair.

"Heeyy" she said standing up and hugging me. "Wow your bump is starting to show. You look great" she said
"Aww thanks. So how are you" I asked

We sat down in the chairs we both got got acrylic nails I got white and she got pink. Once our nails were done we got pedicures we both got the same colours. After our nails were done we paid and decided to get food. We went to a diner. Since I wasn't home to make dinner I phone Ethan and told him to get food for him and Gray because I wasn't going to be back for a while. We were having so much fun hanging out together. "We need to do this more often" I said. "I know I'm having a really good time" she responded. Nicole was like a sister to me we have been friends since grade two. "Look I'm sorry that I haven't talked to you as much lately. I feel really bad, just with me being pregnant" she cut me off "you don't need to explain to me I forgive you, you're my best friend and I'm just happy we're hanging out again" she smiled. After we ate we said our good byes. "I'll text you tomorrow" I said before I got into my car and drove home. I called Ethan just before I was home.
"Hey babe" I said
"Hey, where are you"
"I'm almost home. Did you order food or do you want me to pick something up" I asked
"It's okay we got pizza"
"Is Gray still there" I asked
"Yah, were playing video games"
"Okay I'll see you soon" I said
"K bye love you" he said hanging up

When I walked in the door both of them look at me. Ethan got up and gave me a kiss. Grayson got up and hugged me.

"Hey" he said
"Hi, how are you. It seems like forever"
"I know. I'm doing good. You look amazing. I can't wait to be a uncle" he said smiling. I just smiled back.

I went to mine and Ethan's room and took off my romper. Ethan came in.

"Damn babe" he said with a chuckle. I gave him a fake pissed of face before I kissed him. I put on my Nike sports bra and some sweatpants. I plugged my phone in and turned the tv in our room on. Ethan was still in the living room with Gray so I was alone. I don't know why but I can't fall asleep with Ethan's arm around me so I watched Netflix and waiting for Ethan to come and cuddle me. I texted him.

Me:babe come cuddle me, I can't fall asleep😘💖
Baby Daddy👅💦💜: k I'll be there in five
Me:ok thanks bup
Baby Daddy👅💦💜: 😘❤️

When Ethan came in the room I was facing the wall so I didn't notice him come in.
"Boo" he came up behind me.
"Baaabe are you f*cking kidding me" I said
"What it's a joke" he said trying to kiss me
"I can't control my bladder I just peed my pants" I said a little annoyed.
"I sorry babe" he said trying to help me out of bed.
"You're changing the sheets" I said
"Okay just go wash up" he said kissing me.

I hopped in the shower I just wanted to cuddle with Ethan and go to bed and he had to do that. I was so embarrassed. I got out of the shower and put on a different pair of sweatpants and a different sports bra. "I'm sorry babe" Ethan said walking into our room. "It's okay just please don't scare me again. Especially in public" I chuckled. "I promise, about the scaring you in public. You better watch your back at home" he laughed. He pulled me into a hug and kissed me head. I got into bed and Ethan took his shirt off and put on his adidas pants then cuddled up next to me. I fell asleep felling Ethan rub circles on my back. I was exhausted, being pregnant does have disadvantages.
