Chapter Forty-Nine

December 23

We had to get up really early this morning because our eighth ultrasound was today. I woke up 6:30 just to make sure we weren't going to be late. I had a shower to wake myself up when I got out I wrapped the towel around me and brushed my teeth. After I brushed out my hair and put deodorant on. I went to make myself I cup of tea before I finished getting ready. I didn't hear Ethan come out of our room and I just left him plant kissed on my neck and shoulders. "Morning beautiful" he said while I turned around. I gave him a kiss then said good morning. "You know what would make this morning even better" he said with a smirk. "What" I said smiling. "If we could remove the towel" he said kissing me. I playfully hit his arm and took my tea to our room. I sat at my vanity to do my makeup before getting dressed. I put on mascara and filled in my eyebrows then got dressed. I wore a pair of black tights and a black and white hoodie with checkered van. Once my hair was somewhat dry I threw it into a messy bun and made breakfast. Since Ethan was editing todays vlog I made him coffee. When it was done I brought it to him with his breakfast. "Thanks babe" he said looking up and kissing me. "Your welcome I said and left the room so he could edit. I ate in the kitchen while going through Twitter. Ethan still hadn't gotten ready because he was editing. "Babe we have the ultrasound today get ready" I said walking into the room. "I'm almost done" he said wanting a few more minutes. Knowing him almost done is another hour. "I don't care. Finish it when we get back" I said pulling him out of his chair. He went to our room and got ready while I cleaned up from breakfast. When he came out he was wearing black pants a grey hoodie with a ripped jean jacket over top, and black slip on vans. "Are you ready" I asked grabbing the vlog camera. "Yup" he said swinging the car keys around his finger. We got in the car Ethan was driving. I set up the camera on the dashboard so we could start the vlog. "Good morning guys" we said at the same time while Ethan pulled out of the parking stall. "Today we are going to the doctors. I fell like we are always going but today is our eighth ultrasound and we are definitely excited or at least I am. I'm so excited to get these boys out" I said smiling. We talked to the vlog and to each other for the rest of the car ride. When we got there I signed in and we waited for ten or so minutes until the doctor called my name. "Amy Harper" she said and Ethan and I stood up. I knew the drill by now I lifted my shirt and she put the gel on my stomach. I stated to tear up when I saw the boys. They were absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe that we created them. How we thought this was a mistake but turned into something so pure and built our relationship. If I wasn't pregnant I don't know if Ethan and I would have stated talking and got a connection. We wouldn't be where we are today. We wouldn't be engaged. I love him so much words can't even explain. "Would you like a printed copy" the doctor asked. "Please"I said. We got the photos and booked the next appointment. "Okay so we will need to see you as soon as possible after January second" the receptionist said. "Ok I'm able to come in on the second" I said. "We have 8:20 in the morning or 4:15 in the evening" she said. "Let's book 8:20" I said smiling. I knew Ethan was going to hate me because we would have to leave our house by 7:00. He was warming up the car while I booked the next appointment so he didn't have a say in when it was. "Okay January second at 8:20" she repeated to make sure the date was correct. "Sound good thanks" I said and walked to the car. "When's our next appointment" Ethan asked when I got into the car. "You're going to absolutely hate the time but you will have to deal with it. January second at 8:20 in the morning" I said waiting for him to groan. "Ugh why so early" he asked. "Because the only other time was around four" I said. He didn't say anything he just grabbed my hand and began driving. Our hands never unlocked the hole drive. I went on Instagram for a bit and then fell asleep for like ten minutes. "Babe wake up" Ethan said shaking my shoulder. I woke up and went upstairs to get into our bed and go back to sleep. Ethan came into our room a few minutes later and cuddled me. "I loved you guys" he said kissing my bump and my cheek. He was so sweet. I couldn't wait until I see him holding our boys.
