Chapter Fifty

December 24th Christmas Eve

I woke up around 3:30 not by choice. I guess the twins were excited for Christmas. I didn't want to wake Ethan by listening to videos so I went to the living room. I made myself a cup of tea and watched Netflix until around 5:00 when I got tired and the twins did too. I waddled back to bed. I pulled the blankets over Ethan and I he wrapped him arm around me pulling me close to him. He softly kiss my shoulder and we both fell back asleep. I didn't wake up until 11:45. Ethan was already up. I went to look for him but couldn't find him.

I kept my sweatpants and bra on and put a zip up hoodie over top leaving it unzipped. I was sitting on the couch when Ethan got home. I turned my head towards the door. "You went out like that" I asked and laughed. "Yah. What's wrong with it" he asked walking over to kiss me. "Nothing" I said and kissed him back. "Good morning love" he said and handed me my food. "Thanks babe" I said. He sat beside me on the couch and we both ate our food while watching a Christmas movie. We were going to both our parents houses today because we wanted to do Christmas morning at our apartment just us together. It was almost 1:00 when we decided to get ready. I put on a red long sleeve flowly drew with a red blue and white plaid scarf, and brown knee high boots. I also had a few bracelets on my left wrist along with my engagement ring on. Ethan wore a red sweatshirt with black ripped jeans and his black slip on vans. We tried to match with the red so we could take couple photos later. I curled my hair and did my makeup. For makeup I put concealer, foundation, contour, highlighter, eyeshadow, mascara, a red lip, and filled in my eyebrows. We left our house at around 2:20 to meet up with my parents and brother for lunch. We walked into the restaurant "hi" I said quickly waddling towards my mom who knottiest me first. "I missed you" she said. "You look so gorgeous" she said letting go. Ethan shook my dad and brothers and and then we switched. He hugged my mom I hugged my dad and brother. "Hi dad" I said giving him a side hug. "Hi baby" he said. I hugged my brother and then we all sat down. We were trying to vlog today as much as possible but we also wanted to spend time with our families. We all ordered our food and talked a lot. We ate and then said goodbye and went to Ethan's parents house. I set up the camera in the car so we could vlog as we drove. "So we just wrapped up with my parents and I think it was a good time" I said holding Ethan's hand as he drove. "It was fun" Ethan said keeping his eyes on the road. "So now we are on our way to Ethan's parents house and I'm pretty sure Riley and Christian are going to be there. Which I'm super excited about. We haven't seen them in forever" I said. "Between Gray, E, and Christian; Riley and I are always laughing" I said. "We aren't that bad" Ethan said defending himself and the boys. I raised my eyebrow. He laughed at my facial expression. We pulled up to the house shortly after and I saw Riley and Christian parents car which meant that they were here. Ethan and I got out of the car and walked towards the house. Ethan carried the camera inside just in case we wanted to film anything. He opened the door and right away Christian and Riley came running to the door. "Ammmyyy" the both said as I bent down to hug them. "Hey guys" I said. "What about me don't I get a hug" Ethan said. The both ran to him and hugged him. Ethan and I said hello to his parents and Riley and Christians parents. Ethan and I played with the kids in basement while the adults talked upstairs. Riley showed me a new game she got on her iPad. While Christian and Ethan played on the xbox that was in the basement. "Hey Amy. When will the baby's come out of your belly" she asked and put her hand on my stomach. "Very soon maybe in a month or less" I said placing my hand on my bump as well. The boys began to kick. "Riley do you want to feel something really cool" I asked while smiling. "Sure What is it" she asked. I took her hand a moved it to where the kick was coming from. "Woooh is that the baby's" she asked. "It sure is" I smiled. "E come here" I said calling him. "Yah" he said getting up and sitting beside me. "Close your eyes" I said. "What. Why. What are you doing" he asked. "Just close them" I said with a laugh. Once he did I lifted my shirt and moved his hand where the kicks were coming from. We opened his eyes you could tell tears were beginning to form. "Can I fell to" Christian asked. "Sure buddy" I said and took his hand and placed it on my stomach. Once Christian and Riley went to play on their iPad Ethan bent down to talk to the boys. "Hey guys. I read somewhere that you guys can hear me and I hope that's true otherwise I'm sounding like and idiot" I laughed at what he was saying. "I just want you guys to know I can't wait until I can hold you both and I can't wait tell you can come home. Also be nice to your mom she's been carrying you for the past eight months" he said a kissed my bump then stood up and kissed me. "I love you" he said wrapping his arms around my waist a sliding his hand over my butt. "Ethan the kids are right there" I said a playfully punched him in the chest. "Ouch" he said jokingly. I just laughed. "Do you guys want to go for a walk" I asked the twins. "Yah" they both said at the same time. Ethan and I took them upstairs and got them ready to go outside. Ethan and Riley held hand while Christian and I held hands. We walked down to the playground near Lisa and Sean's house. When the kids saw the playground they started running. We let them run Ethan and I held hands and walked to where they were playing. "Amy can you help me do the monkey bars" Riley asked. "I can't but I know a cousin who is really strong who can" I said pointing my finger towards ethan. He got up and went to help her while I vlogged it. "Ethan is actually so cute" I said it the vlog. "He's going to be a great dad" I finished. When we walked back to the house dinner was almost ready so Riley and I washed our hand and helped set the table. Ethan and Christian folded the napkins for us. I smiled when I glanced over seeing Ethan teach Christian how to fold them. "He's going to be and amazing dad" Julie said as she walked behind me. (I don't remember if I picked a name for Christian and Riley's Mom so Julie is going to be here name. lol) I looked at her and smiled "he sure will" I said. It was almost 8:30 by the time we helped clean up and said goodbye to everyone. "That was so much fun" I said turning in the camera. "I had a good time" Ethan said and began to drive. "You're going to be an amazing dad" I said smiling at him. He just smiled back. "I serious I saw you with Riley and Christian tonight and it makes me so happy know that you are the father to our children" I said and held his hand. When we pulled up to the red light he kissed me. "I love you" he said and checked to make sure the light hadn't changed colours. When we got home we were both freezing so I made myself hot chocolate and Ethan decaf coffee. We laid in our bed in our pjs watching a movie and drinking our warm drinks. When the movie was over we cuddled for a while then fell asleep.
