Chapter Sixty-Five

Also I'm going to skip the honeymoon cause I don't think it can make a full chapter.

We were headed to airport. I couldn't wait to see our boys. I had missed them so much. Ethan and I FaceTime them every morning and every night before they went to bed. We didn't tell them that we were coming home because we wanted to surprise them. The plane home felt like it took forever. Once we got to the airport we got our bags and drove to pick up the boys from Ethan's parents. We knocked on the door and you could hear Lisa walking with the boys towards the door. "Come on boys let's see who it is" she said. Ethan and I both smiled. The door opened and they both jumped into our arms. "Mama. Daddy" the squealed. "Hi babies" I said picking up Connor and Ethan picking up Kaleb. We walked inside both of them sitting hugging us. "So how was the Bahamas" Lisa asked. "Amazing" we both said. We gathered the twins stuff and thanked them for watching the twins. "Say bye to grandma and grandpa" I told the boy. The gave Sean and Lisa a big hug. "Thanks again" I said. "It no problem" she said and gave Ethan and I a hug. We left and brought the boys home. It was 7:30 when we got home. "Okay boys let's get you guys in the bath" I said and watch them both run towards the bathroom. Ethan and I decided to bath them together tonight. I ran the water and put the bubbles in while Ethan started undressing the boys. They were in the bath for almost and hour. We washed their hair not that they had much. We sang some songs and played with their bath toys. At 8:30 we got them our and got them dressed. I Connor was falling asleep was Ethan was changing him. "E just lay him in his crib he'll fall asleep on his own" I whispered. "Okay" he whispered back putting Connor in his crib and leaving the room. I rocked Kaleb back and fourth watching his eyes slowly flicker. His eyes finally closed. Watching your baby slowly fall asleep is the most tiring yet peaceful feeling in the whole world. I sat in the rocking chair holding Kaleb. I started to fall asleep as well. Ethan came in after twenty minutes and got me. He took Connor from me and lead me to bed. I got ready for bed then we snuggled up together. I laid my head on Ethan's bare chest. Shorty after we were both asleep. But the question was would our boys let us stay asleep. Too answer that no. We took turns we both had to get up maybe two times. I know I changed two diapers and Ethan had to deal with a lot of crying. He walked into our room holding the crying baby "babe please can you help me he won't stop" ethan said. I could hear the stress in his voice. I sat up and hung my feet of the edge of the bed and took the baby. "Shhh shhh shhh" I said softly. I held Connor as he cried. Of course he didn't stop. "E can you get me the Vick's from their room" I asked. I also but some essential oil drops in my defuser to give a calming smell. Ethan walked back in a minute later handing me the cream. I unbuttoned Connor's onesie and rubbed the cream on his upper chest. I buttoned his onesie back up and put him in my arms. I walked around our room just back and forth hoping it would put him to sleep. Finally after almost half and hour he was finally out and so was Ethan. I laid Connor in his crib and got back into bed with E. He immediately wrapped his arm around me and snuggles up close. Hopefully they twins would sleep until morning... and they did.
