Chapter Seventeen

"Amy Harper" the doctor called
Ethan and I got up and walked to the room hand in hand. I knew the drill so I took off my jacket and lifted up my shirt and held Ethan's hand waiting for the cold gel. It hit my stomach and I squeeze Ethan's hand a little but I got used to it quickly. It was our third ultrasound and I couldn't wait to see our baby. Ethan was looking at my stomach with a smile on his face. Once the small tv screen turned on we both tilted our heads towards it.
"Congratulations" the doctor said
Ethan and I looked at each other. She continued "you're having twins"
Ethan's eyes attached to mine we both smile he kissed me I kissed him back. "Babe we're having twin" I said still smiling. He just kissed me again.
"Would you guys like a printed copy of the picture" she asked
Ethan answered before I could even process the question "yes please" I just laughed
Once she wiped the gel off and we got out pictures, Ethan and I went to the from to book our next appointment.
"Hi I was wondering if I could book my next appointment" I asked the lady at the front
"Yah, can I get you name"
"Amy Harper"
"Okay Amy we will need to see you back in one month so the end of August. We have the 25th or the 28th for days."
"Can we book it for the 25th I said"
"Okay so on the 25th we have 10:30 am or 2:15" she said
"Can we have 10:30"
"Okay so August 25th at 10:30 am, we are looking forward to seeing you"
"Okay thank you" I said as Ethan and I walked out.
We hopped in the car Ethan drove me home. He was going to come over but we both needed to finish packing since we were moving in three days. I finished packing all my stuff and got a craving for grilled cheese, so I texted Ethan.

Me: I'm craving grilled cheese I'm coming to pick you up
Baby Daddy💞: you have the weirdest cravings
Me: I know and after we are getting ice cream
Baby Daddy💞: okay bup see you soon

Once I got to Ethan's I texted him that I was at his house. Pretty soon we will be living in the same place and we can leave and come home together. Ethan got in the car and we drove like an hour and fifteen minutes just to get good grilled cheese.

"I can't believe you're driving this far just for grilled cheese" he said with a chuckle
"Okay, this is not my fault. This is the pregnancy, and since you helped you can deal with the drive"

We both just smiled. He moved his hand onto my thigh. We talked the rest of the car ride and laughed, actually we laughed a lot. Laughing was kind of our thing. Once we got to the grilled cheese place we ordered our food and ate it. Once we were done we got ice cream and prepared for the drive home. Luckily Ethan said he would drive on the way back so I could rest. We got in the car and we're thirty minutes into the drive when my eyes slowing states to close. The last this I remember is Ethan telling me to go back to sleep once we were in his room.
