Chapter Twenty-Nine

"Done" I said removing my headphone I had probably spent two or more hours editing it. Ethan had ordered food and I had eaten while I was editing. It was 12:40 and I decided to get the online textbooks for Ethan and I because our classes didn't start until November 15th. I wanted to have everything set up so I didn't have to stress about it closer to the date. When I was done I threw my hair in a bun and plugged in the vlog camera, my laptop, and my phone. It was close to 2:00 am and I was tired so I turned out the lights and got into bed, Ethan turned off his game and got ready for bed. Our baby shower and gender reveal was in two weeks so Camron was coming over to help me plan it tomorrow.

I woke up at around 9:15. Ethan was still sleeping, so I let him sleep while I got ready. I got into the shower. When I was done I put my hair into French braids and but on some grey sweatpants with a hot pink sports bra. I put my everyday makeup on and then made breakfast. I made pancakes for Ethan and I. He was still sleeping so I ate mine and left his on a plate so he could heat them up later. I was waiting for cam to come so I began to vlog. "Good morning guys. Today is going to be a busy day".. I began when Ethan interrupted me by wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my cheek. "Morning" I said while kissing him back. "The pancakes on the counter are for you" I said. "Thanks babe" he said walking into the kitchen. "As I was saying today is going to be a busy day, because Ethan sister Camron is coming over to help us plan the baby shower. We are super excited, well I don't know if Ethan is because this isn't really his thing but we will definitely do updates throughout the day. (Note: Camron is a party planner/ event planner) I flipped the camera to Ethan "babe are you excited for today" I asked. "Yah, definitely, for sure, 110%" he said while laughing. "Contain your enthusiasm" I said jokingly. After I was done doing stuff around the house I changed my outfit so I didn't look like trash when cam came. I changed into a black maxi skirt and a long sleeve laced bodysuit. I look my braids out so my hair was curly. At around 1:30 Camron arrived. "Hey cam thanks for coming" I said giving her a hug. "No problem, so shall we get started" She asked. "Yah let me just get Ethan. You can head into the dining room if you want." I said. I went to our room where Ethan was. "Babe Cams here" I said walking back to where Camron was. Ethan and I sat down beside each other so we could get vlog footage of us planning together, and Camron sat across from us. "Okay so for the gender reveal part of the baby shower I was think that we could give the gender slip to the baker and she could do a cake with layers and the icing holding the layers together could be blue for boys or pink for girls, and if it's one of each then we will do three layers so one can be pink and one can be blue" I said hold Ethan's hand. "Aww that's cute" cam said. "I like it" Ethan said after. "Okay so then the gender part is planned and the cake" she said. "So for games and entertainment things for the guest what were you thinking" she asked. "Okay there will be a few kids at the shower so we do want games and stuff for them to do" I said. "I have a list of activity that I've done before at baby showers" she said handing me a paper. I put it in the middle of Ethan and I. "Can we come back to the games there are so many I want to have a better look later" I said after quickly scanning the paper. "Yah for sure" she said. "Okay so for the location, where were you thinking" she asked. "One of our parents houses, because if there is kids they will probably want to run around" I said. I look over at Ethan how was on Snapchat. He took a photo and wrote: baby shower planning has me like...😒 . I was so mad I just slid his phone out of his hand and held it. When he looked at me I gave him the pissed of look. We're in this together. I get party planning isn't his thing but it's for our kids, and he was on Snapchat. We finished up with Camron I told here I would send her a list of baby shower games once we knew which ones we wanted to do. We said good bye and she left around 4:00 ish. "Babe I'm sorry" Ethan said. I just gave him his phone back and walked into our bedroom. He followed me into our room where I got my computer and gently pushed passed him to sit on the couch in the living room. "Babe I'm sorry for being on my phone" he said kissing my neck trying to get me to forget about it. "Eth I get that planning the baby shower isn't your thing but it's our babies not just mine. I know that you would rather be at the beach or doing something stupid with Gray but it was not even three hours. I was really excited about planning our first baby shower together and you weren't" I said in a soft upset voice. "Babe, I'm really sorry. I didn't know it meant that much to you" he said holding my hand. "If you don't mine I'd like to help you pick out the shower activities" he said I just smiled and hugged him. It was so hard to be upset with him. He was so sweet and I couldn't wait tell the babies are born. We ended up ordering pizza and asking the vlog what games we should do at the shower so we will probably send cam the list in a two or three days.
