Chapter Seventy-Six

December 23rd

Today I was planning on doing Christmas baking because I wanted to drop off some treats to mine and Ethan's parents for the holidays. This month has been super busy with moving, Christmas, and being pregnant. I woke up around 8:00 they boys slept in today so we got an extra hour of sleep. We had our morning cuddles as always and this morning the boys decided they wanted to watch tv in our room. Ethan was being so cute with them. They we all laying on our bed watching cartoons. Ethan had his arms wrapped around both of them. I went into the bathroom to get ready and have a shower. I washed my hair then got out. Today I decided to wear something comfy because we were staying home. (Amy's outfit⬇️)

After I was dressed I blow dried my hair and put it into a messy bun. I didn't bother with makeup today since we weren't going out. After I was ready I went to make the boys breakfast. I decided to make them waffles. When the waffles were done I went to our room to get them. "Come on babies your breakfast is ready" I said lifting them off the bed. They both ran to the kitchen. "Morning baby" Ethan said as he got out of bed and put his hood over his head. "Morning" I said kissing him. We both went into the kitchen to get our food then we joined the boys at the table. After we were all done I cleaned up while Ethan got ready. (Ethan's outfit⬇️)

After Ethan and I were ready and the kitchen was clean we got the boys dressed. (Connor and Kaleb's outfits⬇️)

The boys played in the living room with their toys for a bit while I made a shopping list. "What do you want to do today" Ethan asked as he come up behind me giving me a hug. "I was thinking we could bake some Christmas cookies with the boys and then take them to your parents and mine" I said with a giggle because he was kissing me neck. "Okay" he said. After ten minutes I finished the list. "E I'm going to the store I'll be back in like a hour" I said as I kissed Connor and Kaleb on the cheek. "They get a kiss but I don't" he said with a smirk. He got up and walked me to the door. "Bye beautiful" he said giving me a kiss. "Don't set the house on fire" I said and kissed him back. I picked up all the things we needed for baking and a few groceries.

Skip grocery shopping

I pulled in the drive way and called E to help me bring the groceries in because I wasn't aloud to lift heavy things because of the pregnancy. (A- Amy E-Ethan)

E-Hey babe
A-Hey I just pulled in can you come help me
E-Yah I'll be out in one minute
A-K thanks babe
E-Okay see you in a minute

Ethan came and brought the groceries inside so I could put them away. After they were all put away I got the recipes out and got started. Connor and Kaleb both came in the kitchen. "Hi babies. Where's daddy" I asked. They pointed to the couch "daddy's sleeping" they said. I smiled. "Okay do you boys want to help me" I asked. They nodded and grabbed the stools so they could be at counter level. We started baking I got the boys to add the ingredients and use the cookie cutters to cut the dough. I took a few pictures of them doing this to put on our Instagram page. After I put them on a pan and into the oven. While they baked we made icing and I coloured it. There was still a few minutes left for the cookies so I put the icing in the fridge to keep it cool and started to clean up. I washed the boys hands and then they went to play while I finished cleaning the counters. My timer on my phone went off so I took out the cookies and set the on a cooling rack. About a hour later I decorated them. I was going to let the boys help but one they were occupied with their toys and two they would've made a huge mess. (How the cookies turned out⬇️)

Once the icing hardened I put them in cute Christmas tins so we could take them to our parents. I was putting the cookies in the container when Ethan came up behind me of course and took a cookie from the pan. He kissed my cheek then took a bite. "E those are for you Mom" I said. "Babe there really good" he said taking another bite. "Why thank you sir" I said kissing him the going back to putting the cookies in tins. Ethan walked over to the fridge to get milk for himself. "Hey E we are leaving in like ten minutes to deliver these" I said as I walked out of the kitchen. Since we weren't going to see our families on Christmas we were exchanging gifts today. So I went to our room to get all the present for Lisa, Sean, my mom, my dad, Alex, Camron, Grayson, Riley, and Christian. After I got ethan to take them to the car. After he put them in the trunk he came back to take the boys to the car. "Connor, Kaleb go with daddy" I said. "I'll be out in one minute" I said to Ethan as he took the boys to the car. "Okay beautiful" he said then walked out. I grabbed my purse, the camera, and the cookies. I looked the house and put the cookies in the trunk then hopped into the car. We drove to Lisa and Sean's first. Of course like always the boys ran up to the door and knocked on it. (I forget if they call Sean and Lisa Grandma and grandpa or nana and papa) -I think Sean and Lisa and grandma and grandpa and Amy's parents are nana and papa-

"Grandma" they both screamed as Lisa opened the door. "Hi my handsome grandsons" she said smiling. Ethan and I walked up the front steps. Ethan carried the gifts and I carried the camera and cookies. "Hi Lisa" I said smiling and giving her a hug. "Hi Amy you look gorgeous as always" she said hugging me back. "Hey E" she said pulling him in for a hug as well. We said hi to everyone and then we gave them their gifts. It was a good time and the boys had a lot of fun especially with Riley and Christian. After we went to my parents and did the same thing. We gave them and Alex their gifts and they gave us and the boys ours. After we chatted for a bit my mom loved to see the ultrasound pictures so I had to show her those. My feet were killing me from standing all day and they were so swollen. Once we got home and put the boys to bed Ethan and I laid in our room. "Babe my feet hurt" I complained. "Do you want a foot massage" he asked. I nodded my head. "Brb" he said which made me laugh. He come back with my favourite lotion. E was such a great husband and I'm so grateful to have such a loving, supportive, kindhearted man in my life who I can trust and count on for everything.
