Your the new girl everyone's been talking about, aren't you ”

I sighed for today might bring me. Pain. Sorrow. Fear. Embarrassment. Loneliness. Happiness. Who the hell knows.

I gulped the saliva to cope my dry throat, as the taxi came to a stop, I turned my head to look out the window to see this large building with the words, “Oakham Performing Arts Preparatory School".

The reason my father had sent me here was ridiculously stupid. I didn't even know why I was here, there's plenty of good performing arts schools in America.

Not full of snobby rich kids.

"You getting out our what?", The taxi driver whom obviously seemed to be in a bad mood asked.

I paid the full amount in cash, and grabbed my things out the trunk. Holding my two duffle bags, and a box of items, I walked to the front door, opening it to see this large entry way.

Royal isn't the adjective to describe the way the inside of the house looked.

"you must be Alexandra. I've heard so much about you", a voice said bringing me out my thoughts, I turned to see a woman with a greeting smile.

"Welcome To Oakham", she said.
"My name is Ms. Brooke's, but most of the kids call me Trudy. I'm the cook and they house keeper", she said.

"Breakfast is at 8. School starts at 9. Curfew at 10. In your room, there is a manual, and student conduct book.", She said.

"I'll have a student show you to your room.", She said as a group of students walked towards the front door, I'm assuming they were leaving for school.

All of them stared in shock.
I looked around noticing there was not a black female in sight. I knew I was going to stand out in this school.

"Ladies... This is Alexandra Leighton. Our newest member of Oakham. Can one of you guys show Alexandra here, her room, and take her to school?", She asked.

"I will.", A voice in the back.
I noticed a green eyed, Raven haired girl walking towards me.

"I'm Sophie", she says.
"You don't look like a Sophie", I said.

"Yeah. I get that alot. Let me help you with your bags", she said grabbing the box. As we walked upstairs, I followed her to the room at the end of the hallway.

"This is where you'll be staying", she said walking inside, as I saw a large room.

With a big Bay window, the room was bigger then my old room back at home. There was a walk in closet, and the bed was centered perfectly in the room.

"Do you have a uniform", she asked.
"Uniform? For what?", I asked.
She walked to the bed handing me a book, "student conduct", it said.

"Rule #341, “all students must wear uniform on school grounds”", she said.

"I-i don't have a uniform", I said.
"I'm sure, they won't mind, since being it is your first day", she said.

"Come. We're gonna be late", she said.

"so apparently we have a new student coming from America", Sean said getting my attention as I was too busy texting Anne.

"A foreigner?", I asked pretending to care.
"Yeah." He said.

I had to many things to worry about then another English girl, I had to worry about my speech tonight at my mother's gala.
