Alexandra's POV

Beep....Beep....Beep....

I woke up to the sound of a machine that was connected to me, and monitored my breathing.

I slowly looked around my hospital room to see it filled with get well balloons, cards, bears, gift baskets.

It was probably from Sophie, and the girls.
I knew they were probably worried about me but they didn't have to buy me all of that.

My eyes turned to the door, once it was opened.
"Good Afternoon, Ms.Leighton. My name is Mr.Crawford, I'm your doctor. I was informed that in the event of yesterday's incident you were trapped inside of a locked bathroom, when smoke entered the atmosphere", he said.

It's been a day since that happened?
Holy shit.

I nodded.
"I wanted to let you know that your vitals seem to be fine, you're breathing is stable, any minute later in that bathroom, you would've been in a 2-6 month coma, or worst. So you're very lucky", he said.

"You are able to leave. You're friends brought a change of clothes for you", he said walking across the room, giving me a plastic bag.

"Who would you like for me to call to help you with your things?", he asked.

Who?
Liam?
- no, I involved him with so much, he probably doesn't even know that I'm in the hospital.

Then who?
William?

-who can't even speak up for himself.

I finally answered.
"No one. In fact, just give it away to all the kids here, I'm sure they'll enjoy it more then I would", I said.

"Really?", he asked with a surprising tone.
"Yeah. Think of it as a your still alive so be happy present", I said.

"Thank you. Uh.. I'll leave you to it", he said walking out the room.

I walked out the hospital room, going to the main lobby when I saw he standing there as if he was waiting for me.

I wished it wasn't him.
I wished it was William instead.

I forced a smile.
"You're okay?", he asked.
I nodded.

"I thought you would've needed a ride home so", he said.
"So you waited here?", I asked him with confusion in my voice.

"Since yesterday, yes. Once I heard what happened, I dropped everything, and came here as fast as I could. The doctors didn't know if you would wake up, or— I just- I thought I lost you", he said being so sentimental.

I didn't know what to say.
I didn't know I meant that much to him.
I just hugged him, as he hugged me back.

"You didn't lose me", I said.
As we parted, "you hungry?", he asked.
"Starving actually", I stated.
"Shake & Fries?", he asked.

That was William's and I thing.
A basket of fries, and a shake, and screaming at busy car on a highway, type of thing.

"My favorite... lets go", I said.

After spending all most the entire day with Liam, he finally dropped me off at my dorm, where there was a car parked out front.

It was William's.

"You want me to walk you in?", he asked.
"Uh.. no. But thanks. I think I got it from here", I said.

I walked to the front door, turning the door knob which was locked, meaning I had to ring the doorbell.

Moments later the door swung opened, "oh, heaven sakes. Thank god you're okay, love", Ms.Trudy said.
