Alexandra's POV

"I'm sorry— your his brother?", I asked.
"I'm so confused. William never mentioned him having a step-brother", I said.

"Let's just say, he wasn't too happy when his mother told him", he said walking inside and I followed him.

Woah, this was a lot of information to take in.

First, I find out I'm pregnant.
Next, I find out William has a brother.

I watched him walk into the kitchen, and to think about it, I never been in this part of the house.

"You want a drink?", he asked.
I never was the type to turn down a drink but remember Alexandra, your pregnant.

"No- thanks tho", I said.
"So, If you're not from around here then where are you from?", he asked pouring myself a drink.

"America... I transferred to Oakham almost a year ago", I said.
"Oh", he said.
"Yeah", I said.

"So, how's Anne?", he asked.
"Anne?", I asked.

Why the hell does he care about Anne?

"Matthew's girlfriend or should I say was", he said.
"Anne as in Anne Lockhart?", I asked.
"Yeah", he said.
"She was Matt's girlfriend before Will's?", I asked.

"You didn't know? Anne was Matt's sloppy seconds, everyone knew that", he said.

"Clearly, I didn't", I said.

William had all these secrets and never bothered to mention any of them.

As his phone buzzed, I watched him roll his eyes in annoyance.

"Everything, Alright?", I asked noticing his change in attitude.

"Uh-Yeah... my Evil Wicked Step-Mother is on her way home", he said.
"Oh", I say letting out a sigh.

"You don't like her either?", he asked.
"I wouldn't use the word like and William's mother in the same sentence, I mean the women literally did anything in her right power to break Will and I up", I say.

"God, she's a bitch", he said tossing a grape into his mouth, making me slightly laugh.

"So what's your deal? How did you get mixed up in the Henry's?", I asked.

"My mother passed, leaving my dad and I, and he can't help it. He's a helpless romantic. So I go to this party in Basilica, with my father, and let just say, Victoria and My father hit it off. Next thing I know, my fathers gone for a couple of weeks, which was completely normal, until he came back as a married man.", he explained.

"Damn", I say.
"I know. And it sucks. Because he never told me or even bothered to ask about my opinion. So now, I had to move. To a new city. New Town. A new school. All these new people. Rich people.", he said.

"Aren't you rich as well?", I asked him.
"Totally but there are two different type of rich people. There are those who don't look rich, which is me, and there's the type of people who act, sound, and treat money as a priority in life, with is half of the people in this town", he said.

"I never— really thought about it like that", I said.

"So what's the deal with you and Will? Why aren't you him together?", he asked.

"Well- it's complicated.", I say.
"How so?", he asked me.

"When I first got here, I already had people who hated the idea of a black, poor American girl coming to the finest school in England. Then when I got the attention of William, it made everything worse. His mother, Anne, The Council hated me. Hated the idea of us.", I said.

"So what happened?", he asked.
"I fell in love— I fell hard in love... with someone who couldn't love, the way I wanted— needed to be loved. Will and I argued almost all the time, but when we weren't arguing— i was so happy", I said feeling unwanted tears form in my eyes.

I breathed heavily.
"So much things have happened between us I can't change, he slept with someone else, so did I. We've said things that can't be unspoken. His mother tried to take me out his life, permanently. We tried to make things work. I tried so many things— but it's like no matter what we do or could've done, it won't change that fact that him and I can't be together.", I say.

Then turning to him, as he looked so sympathetic for me.
Snap out of it.

You literally met dude 12 minutes ago and now your already crying in front of him.

"Sorry", I said wiping my tears quickly.
"No-no. Your good", he said.

I slightly smiled, getting up from the bar.
"I should— get going. I have class in the morning", I say.

"I'll walk you out", he said.
"It was nice meeting you", I said.
"You too. Might I add your unlike any girl I've ever met", he said.

"I get that a lot", I say.
"No. I mean seriously. Your personality. Your ability to listen and actually care", he said.

I slightly smiled.
"Goodbye, Luke Henry", I said.
"Goodbye, Alexandra Leighton", he said.

It so weird.
That spark I felt when I first kissed William, I now felt with Luke.

He opened the door, and there in the walkway stood William, his mother and I'm guessing Luke's Father.

"Alexandra?", William asked.
"What the hell is she doing here, in my house?", Victoria asked.

"William, we should talk", I say finally.
