William's POV

"How is she?", my very all of a sudden concerned mother asked as we sat in the kitchen bar.

"she sleeping", was all I could say.
Just trying to process this whole thing.

"That poor girl", Victoria said before taking a sip of the hard liquor, someone had boughten as a gift.

"I was supposed to protect, Ma", I said looking down.

"None of that is your fault", she says.

"Yes, it is. Meanwhile, Alexandra was about to raped, I was too busy opening gifts", I say.

"William, there's you could have done. Just thank god, you were there in time to help her out of that horrible situation", she says going to the freezer.

Giving me Ice to ice my now swollen and red from the dried up blood up.

"I should've been there for her. So Keith wouldn't even have the catch to get close to her. I should have gotten security guards. I could've made sure— she cut me off, "stop beating yourself up, okay. All that matters is Alexandra is safe", she says.

"Is she? Is she really?", I asked her.
"What are you talking about?", she asked.

"If I can't even protect her, how the hell am I going to protect my child?", I asked her.

For the first time, she hesitated, not knowing what to exactly say because I was right.

Suddenly the door opened, we both turned to see Chuck & Luke walking inside.

I stood up quickly, trying to understand where Keith's rapist ass went.

"Where is he?", I asked Chuck.

"Down at the sheriffs office. They need a statement from Alexandra, herself- in the morning", He responded.

"For what? Luke and I saw what happened— jackass was going to rape her, she was faced down, he was covering her mouth, and he was going to rape her", I say.

"They said they needed the whole story from her", Luke said.

I sighed, "I'll tell her when she wakes up", I say.

Alexandra's POV

I woke up with the bright light of the sun beaming down on me. I was still dressed in the blue, now ripped dress from yesterday.
