William's POV

I fucked things up badly.
Alexandra will never be able to forgive me.
I will never forgive me.

I sat in the cafeteria with my arm wrapped around the back off Anne's chair as she was talking to Jessica.

Everyone, the rich, and most popular kids were sitting near me, talking about either how they're too rich, or too prefect.

Me?
Well, the whole time I was staring at Alexandra.

Her hair laid perfectly, her skin looked soft as ever, her eyes how they sparkled when sunlight hit.

She was smiling with her friends.

I knew her.
And that smile.
It wasn't real.

How would I know?
Because you know these things when your in love with someone, who you can't love.

"Um.. hello?", Anne said snapping me out my thoughts.
I blinked turning to her, "Yeah", I said with confusion in my voice.

"W-what the hell are you staring at?", she asked.
"Nothing", I said quickly.

"Anyway, like I was saying... the pep rally is coming up soon, are you going to announce us being back together to the whole school?", she smiled.

"I'm pretty sure they already know", I said.
"Well, I want them to know again, that nothing and no one, not even the used to be new girl can break up apart", she said.

I slowly glanced up, to notice Alexandra looking at me, when we made eye contact she quickly looked away.

"Excuse me", I said before getting up.

Alexandra's POV

"Just keep smiling", Amber told me as before she told William was staring at me.

I faked smile.
Laughing at the non-laughing jokes no one was telling.

"This is ridiculous. Can I stop now?", I asked Sophie.

"Don't you want him to be jealous? So he can think your happy without him", Sara said.

"I don't want him to be jealous. I ju-just want him to be happy and if that isn't with me, then so be it", I said.

"Oh, that's full bullshit", Amber said.
"You can stop now", sophie said meaning William was no longer looking at me.

I turned to William, looking at him as he sat uncomfortably, with his arm wrapped around the chair, Anne sat in.

"It's ridiculous, he has to pretend to actually like her to make his mother happy", Sara said.

"No. What's ridiculous is how Alexandra let her get between them", Amber said.

I turned back to them.
"What's ridiculous is how you guys are interested more in my love life instead of your own", I snapped.

I then turned back to William, as we made eye contact, I quickly turned back toward the girls.

"Shit", I said.
"Shit what?", sophie asked.

"I looked at him. We made fucking eye contact", I said.

"Calm down", Sara said.
"No. God. I hope he doesn't try to do anything stupid", I said.
