William's POV

I breathed slowly, as I felt my heart rush through my chest, as I saw her.

Alexandra.
She looked so different.
A good type of different.

Which made me love her even more.
She knew exactly what was doing, walking into school on the first day back wearing that, looking like that.

She was teasing me.
Who am I kidding, she doesn't even love me anymore, which means she probably isn't even thinking about me.

Oh fuck.
We made eye contact.
There was about to pass me, I swallowed her as both my friends and I stared her down.

"Boys", the word escaped her mouth so sexually, leaving me hard.
She turned the corner, as so did my eyes, I turned back to my boys.

"Dude", Sean said.
"Mhm?", I asked.

"How in the hell did you manage to loose that?", Harry asked.
I pulled out my things from my locker, "I don't know", I said.

"I do", Sean said.
"And exactly would you know?", Harry asked Sean.

"Because Alexandra was the only girl who could ever have William whipped, you should of saw him when she first got here. All he ever talked about was Alexandra", Sean said.

I rolled my eyes, "who's Alexandra?", the voice said making all of turn around to see Kerri standing there.

"No one, important", Harry answered for me.
I closed my locker.
"Around here, she still is", Sean smirked.
"Anyway, are you ready for your speech at the prep rally?", Kerri asked.

My speech.
Yes. That's what is mainly important for today.
Not Alexandra.
Or how beautiful she is.
Or how I miss her.
Or how I still love her.
Or how I wish things were different.

Ugh. I'm doing it again.
"Yeah", I said.

The bell rang for first period, "gotta go, see you at lunch", I told Kerri, kissing her cheek, and walking away.

"Dude, when are you going to tell her?", Harry asked me.
"Tell her what?", I asked.
"Tell her you don't really have any feelings for her", Sean said.

"What are you talking about? I like Kerri", I said.
"But you loveeeee Alexandra", Harry said.
"And she has a boyfriend so really doesn't matter. She did say she didn't love me literally 3 weeks ago so.", I said.

"And you actually still believe that's true?", Sean asked.

"I honestly don't care. I'm with Kerri, remember. Look, I gotta go. See you at lunch", I said before turning into my first period to see Alexandra, talking to one her friends.

You got to be kidding me.
I tried to my best not make eye contact, as I took my seat in the front.

Everything between us was so awkward and weird, I remembered how we used to love being near each other, now she probably can't stand behind around me.

I need to talk to her.
Just to see if everything between us was still cool.

Alexandra's POV

As the bell rang, I quickly gathered my things walking out the class passing by William, as quickly as I could.

I just didn't want to give him the opportunity to try to talk to me. Lord knows how awkward our conversation would be.
